So I've already gotten a bunch of DM's and some comments on this video asking - how do you actually apply what I am saying? Like, how do I start talking to people and applying what I've said in this video? - would you want a video on that? I have some great ideas in mind so if you want me to make it I'd be very happy to. It'll basically be an extension to this video, but again, actually applying the information without completely f*cking everything up for yourself if that makes sense, let me know 👊

I’ve been told I speak too fast, too quiet, too loud, or too much. Sometimes my throat gets all messed up, sometimes I trip over my words. I felt like my brain moved faster than my hands and mouth. But on the other hand, there are times when I can’t say a word, can’t make eye contact, can’t do anything. And don’t get me started on texting. My texts (and sometimes irl conversations) with my ex (and most of my crushes tbh) were so dry and I feel like that was both of our faults. Half the time I’d be too scared to send a text. I’m really glad this video showed up lol, because no one has really offered anything other than “slow down”, “lower your voice”, or “you’re overthinking it”- this is genuinely helpful, especially at the age of 15. So thank you for your channel :) ok even yt comments are scary to post ahhhh

I was able to talk to anyone easily and actually be funny. I dont know what happened later on but there was a switch that brought me back to that 6th grade version of me and ever since i have been that version of me. I actually finished my Profesional Communication course this spring as part of my study program, and I can definitely agree with the points you made there. I think there is no definitive answer for everybody as to why dry conversations occur in their communication or 'clutter', but your example with water comes close - it is usually the barriers that exist before the conversation begins in the first place that hold somebody back, and it can be very different from person to person. Things like how respectable you come off and how you yourself feel about it etc. Once again, thanks for sharing your toughts and experiences. They are cherished by many. Stay real, yeah. ❤

Hey Jak, this was a really good video, and a perfect timing, because when you said "find the root cause of my anxiety", I started to think and I sailed on the thought of my main issue. Basically, *everything I do, every video game I play, anything, I am bad/clumsy at*. Some of my classmates even bully me because of it, and it's starting to get to a point where I'm afraid to do anything in front of them. I didn't check whether you have made a video on this or not, but if you haven't, I'd really appreciate it if you made one. But don't get me wrong, this is not the bullying concept, but rather the emphasis is on me being bad at everything. Thank you, much love bro ❤👊

Hello! I know you might not see this but I just needed a space to vent. Recently I’ve had a mental breakdown. Something I thought I was past. Much like yourself, I strive to be the best version of myself I can because I expect better, and because I know I can do better. However, I am tied to these limitations of doubt and uncertainty. For years, everything in my life has been a mistake and has been premeditated until now. I never thought I would get this far and I was always set up for failure. Anytime I start to make progress I keep getting lost in the idea that no matter what I do it will never be enough. No work, no goal, no effort is ample enough because the intention I have set for myself years back will always lead me to the same outcome. And because of this, I keep falling back on old habits. Some people say I’m too hard on myself, if not, all. But I can’t see that because I know better than that. I know who I am and the type of person I am. I never had a good foundation of myself to fall back on. I’m not doing enough because I consider it to be the bare minimum or less compared to anyone else. I’m just making excuses is what it is.

one of the best things I've done to improve my communication is to sometimes take a few seconds to formulate my words, I'll be like "sorry, can you give me a second to figure out what I'm trying to say?" and I take a few seconds to think deeply about what were talking about and find some string to follow in the conversation. we are trying to improve communication so communicating that something isn't quite right and you need a minute to figure it out is generally a good thing.
