No worries brother keep pushing it’ll be harder for you because of your height (I’m 5”7 😭) but keep eating as much as you can and keep training hard I’m going to make a video on bulking soon. Rooting for you brother!

I'm 6'2 and have always had weak SBD. I just hit 80kgx5 on bench and I've been lifting for over a year now. Don't compare yourself to shorter guys on these big lifts because they have a better starting point. From what I understand, tall guys have a higher strength potential.

I second what he said about paused reps they build that lowered end strength when the bar is at your chest, nothing is worse than being able to unrack a weight even like 300 pounds easy but not being able to bench it. I’m a little rusty on the specifics but doing paused reps, coffin press(freehand weight was better for me rather than a cable machine, to each their own) and good ol pushups especially if you weigh 240 like me or more, keep pushing your limits bros success is a mentality and failure isn’t an option 💪

Great vid bro I bench 110kgx2 comp standard all Im gonna say is most powerlifters train bench 4x a week but not to failure
@Ben-Saunders5 ай бұрын
Thank you bro also insane bench. I’ve never trained powerlifting properly and i guess you know more than me when it comes to it but also i think most people watching this video aren’t trying to powerlift but just get stronger in general and not train just for strength. I’ll have to give it a go training like that for a few months properly and see how it goes.

Just keep your head up and keep grinding bro I was probably the same weight as you at 14, focus on eating a lot and enjoy your training and you’ll get big asf. Give yourself time

@@Ben-Saunders btw bro can I still do the strength training without any gym equipments??
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
Do you mean with bodyweight exercises?

@@Ben-Saunders yes big bro
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
For bodyweight the strength program wouldn’t really work as you can’t add weight if you have no gym equipment at home but the rest of the tips like good form, paused and controlled reps, eating more and strengthening other muscles will help a lot. For bodyweight control is huge for building strength

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Juggernaut systems. Im curious to give that a try. I am, as of right now, doing a 4x5 and simply adding 5lbs every week and seeing where that gets me. I've went from my work set being 150lbs to 175lbs now within the last couple months. I need to hit this 225lbs milestone soon lol. I feel fairly confident that i could hit 205lbs but i dont want to test it and waste a day yet so im just going to keep adding 5lbs. Once i get 205x5 i know for sure I have 225.
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
Definitely give it a try brother it adds that variation instead of doing the same rep range each week which I think is quite important. Keep going brother you’ll hit that 225 in no time 💪
