The Lat Pulldown is a great exercise to build your back but people often get it wrong! Here Danny shows you how to properly perform the lat pulldown and covers all the information on setup, cues, and anything else you would need.

- Set up with thumbs right where bend occurs in the bar
- Sit down making sure torso is upright
- Pulldown to the top of the chest
- Line chest up under the bar
- Think shoulder blades down
- Bring chest to the bar as the bar gets lower
- Helps you better recruit and feel the Lat
- Visualize pulling hands down in a circle circle
- Finish with the bar at mid chest
- The tempo should be under control
- Don’t use momentum
- Squeeze your lats at the bottom, hold for 1-2 seconds, and then let you lats control the elevation of the bar on the way up
