could you make a video showing how to take out the rear deck to get to the sub and speakers? i want to get the kicker sub upgrade, but i cant find a good video of anyone really dissembling it. 😭

I am here searching for the exact same thing. I am getting a kicker woofer too. Are you going to keep it on the factory amp or add on to supply the sub woofer

I just got my rear deck out. It was a pain in the ass...only to find out that I didn't have to remove them to get to the speakers. You can pry out the grilles with some elbow grease which will expose the bolts for each speaker /sub. But if you need to remove the deck, there are videos that show how. It close to if not the same as honda rear deck removal.

@@cedricnorman6563 wow!! I was quoted so much to replace them so I did it myself.. took out the seats and everything.. finally snapped the grill off.. just waiting for my speaker replacement to come in tomorrow.. this is on my 2014 Acura RLX

@krystalmitchell4177 Nice! I'm only removing the deck to address the rattle created by the 1200 watt sub in the trunk. The deck slaps against the glass and it's nasty. But overall, I only needed the extra low end it's near perfect match for the 10 other speakers on stock amp. I do have kicker in the doors but there wasn't much improvement for the money. I'll bypass the stock amp whenever i decide to upgrade the alternator to keep my lights from dimming. Congrats on the deck removal!

@@cedricnorman6563 Thank you! i am impressed with myself got it all put in but wont work 😬 looks like I will need help after all because I have no clue why it wont work… I noticed a wire to my rear deck tweeter is broken.. I wonder if that has something to do with it.. only the rear deck won’t work so I know it’s something I did
