I've been following a few of your videos and just did the one for the eye. I have used mechanical pencils for 20yrs, since my teens, and using the classic pencil is so difficult for me! Getting the lightness is so frigging annoying 😂 I'm doing it though! I did a second eye and used 5 different pencils. My 9mm mechanical, 2B, 4B, HB and 6B. For whatever reason, the paper seems to .... shred or flake away, no matter how light I go. and very possibly it's just the sketchbook I use (mixed media 98 lb idk what that means) but anyway, shading/value is difficult for me. I'm great with details though! 😅

I enjoyed this very much. Since I love drawing plants and flowers I would highly appreciate some videos about the creation of fantasy plants (plant creatures even). I have not seen such thing on your youtube so far. But creatures need background and company, don't they?
