This is one of those creatures that looks so cool my brain immediately starts unconsciously putting together a scenario where I could have it as a pet😂😁👍

Thank you so much for this channel fr, the way you teach here made drawing fun and improvable to me in a way many other teachers haven’t! Love from the PNW ❤️

My biggest issue at the moment is the complete inability to picture things in my head, I hate trying to draw anything because I just can't do anything original, I'm working on that and your passion for drawing creatures has gotten me slightly addicted to drawing them too. HP Lovecraft being my favourite author is great because drawing his monsters is a way to kinda loophole my way through this issue i have. Other things like Bloodborne and weirdly enough, gravity falls also have amazing creature designs. But my insane lack of imagination is just painful sometimes

I think your one of those sweet places where everyone can learn something new, even if it's one thing (at least for me).

Love this. Great sitting down and putting on your videos as i draw. Specifically your "finding your style" video was very interesting and i look forward to watch more, thank you for teaching

I'm working on some illustration for something I'm writing at the moment. I can "see" what I want, I can do a really crappy (dare I even call it a sketch) sketch of what I "see". I just lack the real time skill to get the image down on paper past something that resembles a preschool art project. It's very frustrating.

i think lips are more a mummiferal think to suck milk from the mather. Reptile and anfibius doesn't have them couse they don't need them to eat and they babies don't drink milk. Fish have somthing similar but is ment for dont let small pray to swim out their mouth. im not a dinosour expert but i think they are closer to reptile then mummifers so i think carnivore have tooth growing directli from the gum like crocodiles. Graet drow, great challenge, great master. Ty Bobby

i have the opposite problem. I can figure out very cool scenes in my head with a lot of cool ditalis and colors, but when i try to get them on the page thay dont look like in my head. I dont know if is my lack of talent/techninch or somthing else...

I think people who say they see beautiful images in their head but can't draw them are dirty liars because can't you just trace over them?? Like you have your drawing in your head already! Just paint over it! Okay, it could be difficult to do traditionally as mixing the right colour is a skill to learn, both paint and paper could misbehave but in digital? Pick the right color from color wheel? Which colour is the right one? THE ONE IN YOUR HEAD. I think all these people have very vague IMAGES in their heads and some cool vibes. They don't actually See anything in details and this is why they can't draw without references. So aphantasia is much more common than we think.

People with Aphantasia can't even see the images. That's the point of the lesson.

Yet another helpful technique that I never fully adopted until now. Hard to imagine that a handful of months ago I was struggling to put pencil to paper. Now, hardly a day goes by without at least one sketch being made. Amazing, as always. Also, yes, best Halloween idea.

Will never understand what people get from this sort of bollocks. Congratulations, you can draw utter bullshit that makes no sense and serves no purpose. Now maybe start teaching people to draw something decent?

This lesson is somewhat for me, I depend too much on references and images to compose my original sketches. I’d like to just put my imagination on paper without any external dependency. Thank you Mr. Rebholz!

It is too difficult to draw exactly what you have in your mind to be honest and it takes a lot of practice to be able to but it's worth it once you get used to it, I appreciate you opened up this topic👍👍

Hello Bobby, thank you very much for your videos! I've started learning how to draw again because you explain so well. But I have a question: Is it okay to copy your drawings most of the time rather than trying to draw something on my own as a beginner? At this stage, it's just much easier for me to try drawing what you draw in your videos than to create something myself. Thank you in advance for your reply!
