How to Add PNG to Final Cut Pro

Thanks so much. The reason why I came to your video is because I was unable to edit my png after importing it to my timeline. The secret was the Transform feature. Once I clicked on Transform I was able to resize my png and move it to the right position. I think that might help others with the same issue.

Sounds like a color space issue. Double check your project settings.

Strange. Double check your blend mode settings. What are they at?

Thanks for the video, I seem to be having an issue when it exports in that, none of the titles I added are in the final export. Not sure what im doing wrong. It jumbled my edits into the middleof the screen in the final export/result.

@@StupidRaisins I did not, I added text onto a PNG logo then tried to export and it scrambled everything I added into the middle of the screen on top of each other. Never seen anything like it Are people able to edit logos as such in FCP? Thanks for the response.

Can you help? When I import a music score as a png, it arrives black. Only the guitar tab numbers show

Sounds like a transparent png. Some parts are see through but the tab numbers aren't. Convert it to a jpg first.

Hey bro was watching your tutorial. I’m having some troubles exporting current frames. When I go to export a frame it doesn’t export it stays at 0%. Not sure what to do I deleted generated files but still nothing, do you know how to fix this issue ?

@@StupidRaisins when I find a PNG and upload it to FCPX, it’s keeping the tiles in the background or solid, white background rather than removing it as it should
