What a wonderful video. No more cold showers. As an emergency room PA I am lately taking several showers daily to keep my infant twins safe from the covid virus that I'm sure gets all over me ( Ive seen a minimum of 10 covid patients per shift these past three weeks!) and I've been stuck taking cold showers. Thanks for the quick reference - I just installed a replacement cartridge for the same Delta unit. My wife wasn't to happy about her Luke warm shower this morning. NOTE - the temp adjustment knob for replacement parts are a single piece that you now pull out from the knob, turn, and let reengage making it a bit easier. Thanks again!

Dude thank you so much. I've had luke warm water coming out my faucet for a year now! Got sick of it and decided I would fix it and this did the trick. Thought my valve was broke! Easiest fix all year.

i just put in a new cartridge and was flummoxed to find there was only 90º of travel, and the water never got beyond lukewarm. a quick web search and your video saved the DAY! NOTE: the newer cartridges don't have (at least not visibly) the set screw. all you have to do is pull out slightly and turn to the left.

Thank you as this video helped! I noticed you turned the plastic set temperature back as your set screw wouldn't have fit if turning it the full 30 degrees. It doesn't take much adjustment. My set screw required a torx screwdriver (6 sided). Also I wouldn't recommend using any power tools to remove or tighten the screws. Otherwise people accidentally over tighten and can break or crack the on/off knob quite easily. But your video allowed me to adjust my shower easily, all in 5 minutes so thank you very much!!!

You just save my water heater, I was goin to setup to very hot and I know setting out to very hot will decrease the life of the water heater. Thankfully I watch this video and not is setup to warmer and I have hot water Thankuuuu

Great video. I did this, screwerd the "plastic" handle back on, turned the handle and it broke off in my hand. But now that it's broken....I'm using a wrench and now I'm able get the hot water that I've desired.

First thanks for this video. It really helped me understand what needed to be done (I had sort of figured it out on my own but was afraid I'd break something until you verified what I was trying was correct). One problem I ran into was the inner gear (the one that you need to turn clockwise for hotter) only seems to be able to be inserted into specific locations. I couldn't spot any kind of guide that would prevent me from just inserting it in any position, but it just wouldn't go into other than one or two specific locations.
