Thanks. I just needed that last tip - press down forcibly and turn it to the left to engage the bean holder to the body. I was afraid I would break something but you talked me through it. Thanks!!

Awesome tips on setting up for better French Press grind. I have torn this apart before and didn't get it. Now I got it. And did it. My cup ☕️ thanks you.🙏

Thank you so much for this video. I got a used Capresso Infinity from free because it will only grind extra fine even at coarse setting. I followed your instructions and found out that last guy who messed with the adjustment set it wrongly to that the upper burr starts at very low setting. An easy fix. A little tip on how to remove the black plastic ring. With the timer facing you, at about 8-9 o’clock on the bottom side of the black ring, there is a little slotted clip area. Once you lift up the easier part of the ring, use your finger to very gently pry that clip area and it will release.

Awesome!! I am loving you right now! Two items I thought of, probably should mention voiding the warranty first. 😂 Next, tell folks to use a butter knife only if they don't have a screwdriver as that popped it right off with our wrestling. Thanks again. You rock!

Thank you for the video. Pointed exactly the key things to pay attention to. I did it to adjust it to the finest possible for turkich coffee. So, some additional info. The wite ring has a small holes and a pin on a spring. It can be adjusted only on steps. I adjusted to make it 4 holes finer than the default; 4 clicks. Following the instruction in the video made it very easy. I tested it on the 4 new positions and the results are -4 it grinds so slow thst I am not patient enough. The important fact is, it does not damage the grinding will. -3 The cringing time doubled compare to the standard 0. The size of the grind is roughly half of wat it is on 0. The variation of the sizes increased compare to 0. The machine normally produces very precise grind and going below 0 made the size spread -1 -2 failed between -3 and 0 In summary the impact of -3. 1. Roughly 2 times fine than default 0 2. Significant increase of the diversity of size. At least 10% of the bits are more like 0. This made making turkish coffee bit more dificult 3. Significant improve in the taste of the coffe 4. No visible damage on the wills. The motor does not sound overloaded. More like 20% more load. I expect that the shortening of the life of the machine will not be very big and the improvement of the taste of the coffee worth it. Even without adjustment the machine is probably the best option for turkish coffee on the market, unless you go to industrial machines. Do not expect to get a flower grade grinding like from the professional vendors specializing in turkish coffee, but this is the best you can get on the market and is good enough

Thanks so much for the in-depth comment! Amazing to see people getting some great usage from their grinder.

I have the stainless version of this grinder and instead of tabs holding the shell on there are 4 screws. They are the security-style torx heads. I just lightly taped a normal t10 bit into them and they came right out. Was able to turn down the grind just enough to get my espresso shots working without buying a new grinder. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks a bunch for this info. I have the stainless version also, adjusting the burr clearance down for finer grinds as well. Saw the little torx screws in there but wasn't sure. Thanks again!

I have the stainless one also. Wasn't able to get the security head torx out. Will make a trip to the hardware store. 🤞

Great video, thanks. I took off the black plastic ring without marking and your video let me reassemble it correctly (at least close enough). I also made the mistake of turning it over with the white plastic ring taken off and confirmed there was only one spring/bearing that almost went down my drain...

Thank you! this fixed our problem of the grinder being too fine after 5 years of use. Not sure why that happened but now we are making french press without sludge again.

Oh great. I’m getting sludge and so want to fix it! I’m gonna try. Maybe I should grind a supply of coffee before I try this, in case I muck it up or can’t get it back together.

Just want to mention that on the stainless steel version two of the t10 torx screws are located under the rubber bumpers/legs at the rear. Pop the rubbers out and they are right there. The other two are plainly visible towards front

Nice video, very clear. I took both of my burrs off to get to the springs and ball bearings for a deep clean. Did you get that far, and if so, did you notice two rubber rings, one shorter and wider than the other? Can't recall where these went and in what orientation. Thanks!

Tried this and the hopper is now locked on 😢 - it pivots between coarse and grind, but that doesn’t actually change the grind size anymore, it only grinds super fine from either position, and the hopper refuses to turn all the way to the white dot to allow me to remove it. Any ideas?

didn't show much for my grinder getting stuck constantly and I keep cleaning it
@nancycy90392 ай бұрын
Thanks for this! Another time, please use something more fine than your fingertip to point out what you want the viewer to see, such as a sharpened pencil tip or chopstick. Your finger and attached hand covers up what we need to see.
