Fucking golden, no boring commentatory, good explaining, real talk. I would kym if I ever saw another aiming tutorial which only covers "KEEP YOUR CROSSHAIR AT HEAD LEVEL". On the other side, whats your opinion about counter strafing? From what I've read, you stop instantly when you let go of key, actually I've been missing alot of my shot since the muscle memory is fucking strong and the timing difference because of movement speed throws me off. Also, while you walk, you are almost as accurate as when you are standing, for a few bullets, that could be included in training too. EDIT: Also what I suggest, is, that you implement outer line for movement accuracy, to train exact timing for the counter strafing / shifting, it can help in the beginning. When doing vertical training, dont just traing lower to head, try to add from high to head (which is harder for me), in this game there are so many height levels that you will need that one too.
@xtrval4 жыл бұрын
The next video I actually have rendered is about crosshair placement x.x - With counter strafing, I indeed have a lot of muscle memory from CS (About 6k hrs) so I usually stop myself with the opposing strafe key. I get what you mean by the timings being a little off, so at the moment I don't have the most deep mechanical experience with Valorant so I don't have much of an opinion to give on Strafe shooting. But yes, I have noticed you are almost 100% accurate whilst walking, which is stupid as hell imo. I do need to implement the outer line and I have been considering doing so but never actually did it. With the vertical training, that's actually really smart I never really thought about that, so thank you. TLDR - No opinion on strafe shooting - (YET). I will be making a crosshair placement video for the newer players in the valorant community, and I will also make a much more indepth aim routine for those that are very serious about improving their aim.
@AweNayder4 жыл бұрын
@@xtrval Good, I will be looking forward the serious video :) As my peak was supreme in cs go, I want to get much better in valorant. Also, when I try to hold head level, I find myself holding it most of the time on the neck level, is the height of characters diffferent from Cs Go? Or my crosshair placement was always bit odd in csgo (which most of time worked cuz of spraying?)
@del46_604 жыл бұрын
I think most people are using SHIFT instead of using the opposing strafe key, which is just as good as stopping for the one tap at least.
@xtrval4 жыл бұрын
@@AweNayder I believe it is a bit different in Valorant, I noticed my placement is always a tad off aswell. Given I'm used to 4:3 and I play native in Valorant.

I've found that doing these drills with the Streak option in the practice range allows you to more consistently practice the drills. For example you will have a timer (if you want to time yourself for the tracking drill) and you will have a set number of bots (50 or 100 if you want to count how many shots you are doing). Just a small tip for the boys.
