Why are they moving the chain by hand? Just wrench on the gear shifter and spin the pedal once...

Because depending on derailleur screwed up position it might skip and grind a bunch, and moving it by hand isn't much slower.

@@Narezaath its way slower... Literally 2 seconds to just ram your thumb all the way through the gears while doing a single pedal rotation Only possible reason to do it by hand is if it comes flat out not even with a basic calibration and will just shoot right off
