In this video I go over ceramic coating new rims with CarPro DLux ceramic coating on a matte finish set of wheels. Let me know if you'd be interested in seeing this applied to plastics and potentially the whole car. This involves a decontamination and detailing process which is time consuming but well worth it.
** Warning ** Don't reuse the old micro fiber cloths as it will scratch surfaces with micro pieces of ceramic coating. Also don't let the application sit too long without knocking the material down with a wipe, what you see is what you get with this product for a finish; if it drips or streaks it will cure that way.
Quick Directions for New Uncontaminated Surfaces:
1. Put on gloves and apply / wipe off CarPro Eraser to prepare surface, let this flash dry.
2. Apply to DLux Ceramic Coating to Micro Suede application cloth.
3. Don't wait longer than 10 minutes to perform tangent wipes with this product; you get about 1 minute at 90F up to 8 minutes at 50F. Personally I try to not wait very long and wipe off quickly with a micro fiber, you'll see how I do this in my video.
4. Allow to cure 1-3 hours without water being introduced to surface, I personally would avoid this if possible.
5. If wet during first 24 hours wipe off water before it dries on surface as a precaution; don't let water stand on the freshly coated surface.
6. After 3 days the coating is fully cured.
7. Throw away all micro fiber
