Hi Piyush, I've noticed that you suggested that the applicant enter their Aadhar card details for the national identity document section in their IMM5257e form. To the best of my knowledge, this is not required as the Aadhar is proof of residence, and NOT an NID. I've submitted multiple successful visa applications in the past and I had never entered my Aadhar details in them. That field can be left blank.

Hi Piyush, I have a quick question regarding my TRV renewal. I applied for my TRV renewal after receiving my Study Permit Extension for my second course. The study permit extension was mailed to my home address in Canada. However, due to a family emergency, I had to travel back to India. After applying for the TRV renewal from Canada, I submitted my passport for stamping through VFS Global in India. I received my stamped passport yesterday, but the category on the stamp reads "V-1 Visitor" instead of "S-1 Student." As I am a returning student planning to travel back to Canada, is this okay? Can I still enter Canada with the V-1 stamp along with my renewed Study Permit Extension? Any leads are appreciated Thank you!

@@claritybringsserenity I contacted IRCC regarding my concern, and their response was that I can enter or leave Canada with the TRV. They explained that the TRV stamped in my passport is simply a travel document. As long as I have a valid permit-be it a Visitor Visa, Study Permit, or Work Permit-I can enter or leave Canada without any issues. The stamp in the passport serves as a travel document that allows entry to Canada, regardless of whether it falls under the V-1, S-1, or W-1 category. This is the information I received from IRCC. I will be traveling back on January 5th and will provide an update afterward.
