Thanks to you I have learned a lot about kitesurfing I went to the beach alone with my dads old gear (from 2007 I think its a "waroo best something 13 and 9) 2 times for like 7 hours in total and i can drive back and forth and I can bodydrag upwind with my board i was so happy to drive on my 2nd day because no one taught me :D The kites are a bit hard to fly because they're backstalling a lot and kinda "flattering" if i steer them down down or if they gain speed and my dad told me that i cant keep them at 12 i always have to steer and pay attention to them if i let the bar go the kite goes down Because of these reasons i'm thinking about getting a new kite preffered in 11 because the nine is too weak in my conditions (12-20knots) and the 13 feels too strong because it doesnt have a lot of depower range what would you (or anybody else) recommend me to get? I'm kitesurfing in flat waters where I can always run back to the shore Thanks for your help

Hey Ciri, sounds great, I’m not motivating people to learn kitesurfing without an instructor, but good that you manage to do it and that you have safe conditions for Kitesurfing 🙌🏼 I honestly love the North Reach 2023, I found it super comfortable to ride it in light wind and strong wind conditions, many of my friends an clients loves it a lot, so definitely recommended. Btw I’m not sponsored by North, just love their products a lot for the combination of me enjoying the performance of the kite and being able to use them for teaching as well. There are other good kites as well, like Evo from Duotone, Core XR and I’m sure other models and brands that I didn’t test yet.

@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Thank you so much for the answer! Yea my conditions are very safe because I always can run back and when I was there i was basically alone there were only like 5 kiters max. so I had lots of space. On top of that I have a lot of experience in flying a trainer kite because I have a landboard at home since I live 250km from the beach :D Thanks for your videos keep it up, I am learning a lot :)

Hehe that’s true, because 99% of the kiters will not see this video 😅 But I hope that at least 50% of kiters seeing this video will take my advice 🙏🏻

Has anyone ever followed advice from a advanced kiter and than all of a sudden you can’t do something as well before. I find that I have now overthought my moves on water
