15:50 same, I also find it easier to draw a character after doing a bit of research! There was an attack I made for someone's character last year where I incorporated a lot of the character's mentioned likes in it, and it just made it easier and more fun for me. also afterwards the creator actually told me that the character was their sona, and that the likes they put down were all their favorite things! idk, it just made me happy to make the piece a little more personal by including those things

Agreed I like looking at the OCS characters permissions to see what else I can incorporate in my attack and I usually end up drawing another character that’s connected to the oc and I feel like it makes my attack more interesting!

my thing I did last year when I felt myself getting tired but still wanting to draw was to let myself do something a little easier. I’d still try to create a fun and interesting drawing, but instead of a full body I’d do a bust. Or instead of a full color piece I’d do something more sketchy but with a fun pose or prop or background composition. Maybe it was a little less points, but I was still able to make cool art for cool characters, and the momentum is what helped me move on to the next piece with a little more confidence

I've always stalked Artfight so this will be my first year actually trying. My main worry is the fact that I'm not an artist-artist and especially with my more skilled friends I don't want to ruin their characters 😅

@@ENDZHAR thank you so much!! That's very sweet :3 I do use OBS to record my clipstudio sometimes, but exporting time-lapse helps the videos come out quicker and easier since OBS records extra parts (ie: whenever I stop drawing for a minute ) and makes the file bigger
