Hey Michael,I have a tip for when your cleaning your angel fry tanks!I know you use air line tubing so that there's only a small chance that one of the little angel fry will get sucked up, but I discovered a way that none of them will get sucked up at all!You still will use air line tubing, the only thing else you will need is an air stone, then just connect the air stone and air line tubing together and drain the water the same way you would if you hadn't put the air stone on.The water will still get sucked up into the tube but there's absolutely no chance that any angel fry will ever get sucked up! However, it does take twice as much time but will be worth it when you never lose any fry! Hope this helps you and whoever else reads this comment, and I love the angels!

Michael's Fish Room well,I suppose that's the tricky part. But it would only be necessary to use the stone while there really small, therefore with then being so small the debris won't make be a huge deal, then when they have absorbed there yolks and grown big enough, you can just take off the stone

Where do you get the hormone, how do you add it and does it work?? I have angels .. someday I would like to let them breed but for now I just done have room for them =[

I am new to setting up an egg tank...Currently I have a 20g tank, with a heater, and 2 large bubble stones. I ordered a sponge filter, but it was HUGE and the tube was very big around...so I am returning it...however, I see you have one also, and it looks like you just inserted a normal size bubble stone tube (with no stone) into it....is that how it works? Not trying to be dumb, but it just looked like it wouldn't work. The one I ordered, said "up to" 50 gallons. So, should I keep that? And is that all I need to raise these eggs? I have like 400-500 eggs, and it has been about 4 days....I see no wigglers - a few white ones, but most look clear and healthy...but I don't know what I'm looking at. Hey Michael, this is a really obvious question but bear with me. My angels just laid eggs on my heater last night. They don't appear to be fertile. Will they lay eggs if they are both females? Or will they lay eggs only if the other angel is a male? I still have no idea the sex of the other one. I obviously know the one that laid the eggs now lol. They are white so I don't think they are any good.

So white eggs mean they are not fertile. Could be 2 females. Is this there first time? If so, give them some more chances. Sometimes it takes 3-4 times. If you can actually see them laying and fertilizing, you can tell the sex. The male tube will be more pointy.

I had a male angel and he was so nasty!!! Out of no where he was so mean and would zoom across my 55gal to just bash this female and shove her into corners or into the ground. She had decided she didnt want to spawn with him anymore (they laid eggs once and ate them) and he decided he was going to rip her apart. Had to rehome the male. I dont want to be am angel fish breeder but mine always end up spawning.....even if I have like 5 angels in a tank.

@@MichaelsFishRoom no they laid the eggs and ate them immediately. In the past I have raised angel fish. I have no interest in doing it now unfortunately I have 5 angels and 2 have paired off......so...now I have eggs and the parents are caring for them. The tank is big enough that the other angels can stay out of the way...still annoying though. I'll try to raise these fry just cuz I have an extra 10gal but I really wish they would not spawn again.
