I need somewhere to vent so here we go, my year was going great straight A’s and 4th place in mountain biking. Got a group of friends that i hangout with outside of school for the first time in hight school (im in grade 10). Everyone in the group is pairing off with one another and there’s a girl in the group that i really like. Hey Josh, I have a question. How do you stay in contact with your friends after you leave school? In the past year and a half, I have made an extremely close friend, and that's a big deal for me because growing up I didn't have a whole lot of close friends. The problem is, I have developed social anxiety, and unless they're people I've known since primary school, I always feel nervous to ask them if they want to hang out (particularly because this friend is female, and I don't want to give them or anyone else the wrong impression). And don't get me started with inviting people to my house. I only have just over a month left of school and then that's it, I'm done. Everyone's off to university and college, so that's going to be a lot of time where I won't be able to see people. I just don't know how to go about inviting them out. They've invited me out to things a few times, but I'm finding it difficult to do the same myself, and I can't rely on the chance that they'll always invite me to things. +Dinozilla626 hey, i know how tough it can be sometimes to be the initiator. What I would suggest doing is trying to get everyone together as a group. It might be easier that way if you suggest a plan to everyone and then contact them to let them know you're inviting everyone. Group plans can be anything from going to the movies, going bowling, hanging out at the park, etc. Try taking that road, it might end up being easier.

A method I want to try that I came up with my self: A note in the locker. The thing is, it's encrypted. She is pretty smart, so the note is in hexadecimal and octal (programming languages).
