If the girl is very attractive, not loose but hard to get and is drawing attention of a lot of guys , kinda ignore her and act as if you do not notice her , but fire warning shots from afar like being charismatic, being kind and helpful to others , or outperforming your colleagues in that social circle, that will distinguish you from the rest. She will notice that unlike others you do not drool over her and that makes her curious. Make your move a little later when others have emptied their bag of tricks and your approach should not show your intentions e.g if its at the workplace you may probably at first talk about work related issues and then get personal the more you interact.
