Hello! These videos are amazing, thank you for the advice. My ex broke up with me about a week ago. It was a 1 year 7 month relationship (long distance for one year). It started with ghosting and he gave me closure days after. In the closure call, he gave me many excuses- I am not ready for a relationship, You are not in my heart only my head and he said maybe when i asked if we can work in the future. After finalizing, he said we have to go our separate ways, he blocked me on insta and facebook after I was trying to convince him and beg. His parents also blocked me. Even though we only live 15 minutes away from each other but it surely feels long distance. After he told me he's going to really buckle down on work and his daughter, he's liked a few photos on fb and left a comment but we haven't spoken since. That was about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago now. I'm assuming I should stick w/ No Contact as before he suddenly told me that we were in the "getting back" stage..everything had been light, fun and awesome as I have been taking all advice from Love Advice TV....truly felt like we were on the cusp...as the romance was there.... then boom, he backed off and dropped the "only going to concentrate on work and the kid" line. His only relationship that he saved himself for failed miserably.....and he wasn't the same since.... Think his excuse to suddenly want to concentrate on work & his young daughter is due to fear? If he's afraid of love and getting committed again/a relationship, what can I do?

Hey S C, being afraid has consequences sometimes. Usually that consequence is that a person misses out an a great opportunity for fear of jumping in with both feet. So you're going to have to really let him feel like he's lost you. My ex just recently broke up with me (LDR officially for 2 months but been together for around 4 months but very strong Bond seh even talked about marrying me and wanting Kids from me) saying she would not see a future with me bc of me being too egoistic and disrespectful towards her and her family. She said I haven't really listened to her... But İMO thats not right. At that time she was going through a difficult time like having lots of exams in school etc plus her mom had a major surgery. At that time I was really supportive and didnt ask for much. But one night I wrote her a long text complaining about the situation and saying that im not a priority for her like she is for me (i think i was needy at that time). That was the point our rs started to break apart. In our last phone call she told me that she would still like to meet me when I was in her city. But she also added it would be a normal meet up. So we agreed that I would call her als soon as I arrived. Additionaly I told her a certain Date but I had to come a week earlier. So I posted it on IG and WhatsApp but didnt call her and she contacted me with an Attitude. I waited a day and asked her what the issue was. She Said sth like: Nothing you're just ridiculous. So my question is should I go in no contact now. And should I have met up with her even though she was still pissed and angry towards me? The meetup would have been like a week after the breakup so I thought I wouldnt be a good Idea. After that she deleted my number. What do you Guys think about the situation? Note: The LD would have ended in 3 months bc I will start studying in her city. Hey coach, so I was in a LDR for a month and 26 days. He had left me for another girl. Few weeks after the breakup, I moved to another place. I reached out to him once before the no contact phase. Then last month I did the 30 days of no contact. I reached out to him 1st time after no contact and ended it short. He was curious about my social life and I told him that I am doing well. Dear love advice tv Hi coach Natalie and guys and girls out there I really need your help. My ex is the one who broke up with me and I did the no contact rule. Ive been doing it for 10 days only. Coach, I have done the 30 days no contact and reestablished communication with my ex LDR already. He was very receptive and responsive to my contact and we even made plans to meet again (at our favorite spot), but when the time came to meet he said he was feeling a bit under the weather and the Covid 19 quarantine made his excuse more valid. BUT, I do see that about 65% of the time.. I'm the one initiating the contact, this is regarding texts. He doesn't actually call to talk by voice except for one time, unless I have planned a phone call or dialed him myself which is the majority of times. After a while I started feeling like he wasn't really invested, he seems distracted with other things. I think you are right about keeping a positive connection but I also don't want to be the fool who is mostly the one making plans happen. I am also the female in the relationship, at the very least he should be meeting me half way. Not sure how to proceed. P.S. I have kept conversations light and fun.

Believe your ex and your instincts. Her friend is sabotaging your chances. She is already displaying signs deception by sharing with you what HER friend told her. There is a great possibility that your ex told her that to not look desperate or needy.

Help me please...Should I need to book a session? Read the gist Though we know each other for 6year, we had a short relationship of a year almost...but a perfect from every aspect... She is 6years younger than me... One month she said she wants to break the relation without any reason... But I used to talk to her... Though it hurt me a lot... After three weeks she agreed and we were together for another two months... and it was perfect too... But in these two months she slowly generated feelings for another boy of her class by just chatting with him daily(addiction probably)...she started to give excuses for again a break up...I tried to convince, plead,begged and she started to demean me and my actions of trying to get every information of what she is doing with that new boy... our family was so in favour of our relationship that they sensed something bad happening and with her changed and rude attitude in home led her mother contact me as only I can understand her behaviour or she only used to listen to my suggestions that also from the very begining i.e. from 6years back... and I told her mother everything and she was against the new boy so tried to stop her...stopped her chatting with the new boy,stopped her meeting the new boy at any time of the day, though I said her mother not to do so... she even charged her with some personal questions of us what I shared with her mother with trust and her mother by letting her know that I told the secrets to her mother made me bad before her... Don't know but this series of incidents made me appear as villain before her... She just now get the chance to meet the new boy in and after class...and they do so with passion... I guess this incidents made them stronger too... But it broke me,hurt me... I always have done everything for her...left my research opportunities,abroad opportunities after getting gold medal from university just for her... I melted all my desires just to complete her desires... Can't think my life without her... I had to broke my no contact in 7days as it was an emergency for her...Help me please...

@@topgunner1962 Wow, honestly? Tough question. This is the 3rd time we've been down this road.. He clearly has issues but I've been SUPER patient and willing to work with him. We originally broke up last summer. I didn't even know the true reason why he pulled the plug till months later. Nonetheless, we stayed on each other's social media and a few weeks later, he liked an image. I tried to reach out and he wasn't ready to talk and ignored me. So this dance went on for a few weeks. It wasn't till I left a comment on one of his photos that he replied and flirted back. I think time....it works on girls, believe me....I'm sorry that you had to be in that situation. As the coaches say, time is everything. Keep doing you. Are you still one each other's social media? 48hours is not too long but I'm sure feels like FOREVER. I wish I did STRAIGHT no contact when he first plugged the plug. Instead, I wanted to call, wrote letters, etc bc I had NO idea why he suddenly didn't want to see me anymore. I had a valid reason but again I should have went about it a better way. You are ahead of the game and have a shot here. Give her time...people need to sort through how the feel and miss you.
