He is 250km away we broke up 2 months ago & started nc right then.within this time he Only reached out indirectly liking fb post.breakup was due to i was taken for granted,he was lazy didn’t called/msged in a day by his own.he talks to a girl his dept junior beside just his house he hang out wth her i couldn’t tolerate i think she is her gf now but he denied it before.what to do plz help.i miss him so much

Had a woman speak to me on the phone everyday for 3-4 months after a few months messaging . She’s USA I’m Uk. We arranged to meet in NYC but she had to cancel just 3 days before . Dad was ill and she went to Mexico to see him . She promised to make it up after previously asking about do I want a child, where we could live, was upset when she thought I was seeing someone else & said her heart sank when originally I said I can at least save money on a visa if we didn’t try . She originally wanted to meet in the Uk this month as she was visiting . Now she says she can’t come because it might be awkward even as friends because she decided against a LDR. I suspect she may come anyway . Been a very stressful period as she basically just changed her mind !

Hi Clay ! My ex and I broke up aboud 4 months ago but i still lived with him for most of that time. I decided to move to another town abouf 10 hours away in the train ( i live in Italy) The last week there he asked me to sleep with him because it was the only way he could sleep.. He cooked every night and wanted held me tightly through the night...he came with me to the train station and made sure everyone was ok then sent me a text saying that entering the house his world came crashing down...... Now a week later hes distant again..hs still texts me all day but it seems like hes not open to the idea of one day getting back together. I have to go back in a month to do a few things...should I pull back a little in ths meantime?

Hello Coach, I was in LDR (for 6 months) he broke up with me 1 month ago, everything was fine in the relationship except for my temper when I got upset or I didn't like something (when he said /shared to me things he likes) he's a very sensitive person, and he said he just wanted "understanding/acceptance and that he still loves me but that someone less sensitive would be better for me", also he said he didn't feel the say way how he did in the start, we haven't talked since he broke up with me, he's a very nice guy he never hurt me while we were together, I'm aware I have to work out to control/improve my temper and not hurt the people I love and I care. I don't know what to do, should I reach out to him? if so, when should I or when to apologize for hurting him that way? Please coach help me!

Coach Clay, can you please please give me your opinion on this? My ex an I were in a long distance relationship. He broke up with me and I did no contact on him until the day he reached out which was day 23 after a break up. He was anxious and he missed me.I got his text and waited almost a day to answer him back. It’s been now almost 3 weeks since we’re again in contact but he is flirting with his friends from there while he tells me that he missed me (during no contact) and sometimes calls me names (but I am not the only one) and I can sense that he is about to start a rebound relationship with someone who lives in the same country as him. Rebound relationship from my point of view isn’t going to work bc he thinks about me and starts conversations with me every now and then. And 90% of our conversations were started by him. He is confused he said he knows how much I like him but he thinks that maybe he’s changed after everything but he still likes me. so idk wht to do bc he definitely can’t let me go and thinks about me and likes me still but he isn’t able to commit and is thinking of other girls as well. I think if I leave him that will help him move on I wanna be strong on the side to distract him and ruin his rebound relationship bc it ofc can’t work if he still likes his ex and reaches to her. Another thing is that he calls all of this a friendship and introduces me as his friend to those girls. Idk if our connection is just so strong or I should leave him but then he might move on

I was in a ldr for 1 year, and after we broke up I did no contact for 2 weeks and hit her up again, after that I asked basically did the pathetic thing and begged and pleaded to get her back, and she told me she never wants me to contact her again and she was also telling me she doesn’t love me anymore when she said she did probably 2 weeks before and was telling me stuff like I miss you. Right now I’m in no contact and focusing on myself, but she also has me blocked everywhere, Although I feel like I can get past that situation, I’m not sure what to say, and how to bring up the fact that I want to meet her in person, should I start with small talk a couple weeks (right after no contact) before I plan to ask her to meet, or should I skip the small talk and ask her about the meetup closer to the date?

Hey Tutti Boy, I understand that this must be tough for you but it looks like your ex is seeing your attempt in more of a romantic lens and it can put a lot of pressure on her to try to decide right now if she's ready to get back together or not. She may not be in an emotional place where she is ready to make that kind of decision just yet until there is more of an emotional connection between you and her. Hey Clay, my ex fiancé had been in AIT (army bootcamp) for the last 6 months. She originally broke off the engagement in March after 3 weeks we fixed things but as of May 1st we had a disagreement she She ended up blocking me everywhere I ended up emailing her a week after asking her why we can’t fix this and why she did this and she said that she has like oh and she is moving on and she doesn’t want this relationship anymore. She supposed to come back in two months I have a lot of her things I know I’ll end up seeing her so what should I do now and even though she saying this is completely over and she doesn’t want this anymore is there still hope?

Also I should probably add that the main reason why she ended up blocking me everywhere it’s because a lot of her coworkers (girls there with her) told her to. And because she’s so attracted and attached to me that she knew if she didn’t she wouldn’t be able to pull away. But after only a week she’s saying she’s let go?

Hi Clay, I know you probably won’t see this comment since this is an old video but I’m feeling really lost right now and am very much in need of some guidance. My boyfriend broke up with me last week apparently pretty much only because of the distance (though I of course know there must have been other factors), he’s stated that he was just unsure of his feelings because of the distance and didn’t want to lead me on. We talked after the breakup and agreed to stay friends, he said that he still cares about me a great deal and that he’ll always be there for me but didn’t want to continue the relationship because he just wasn’t sure about it. He’s since contacted me multiple times, saying he’s sorry, asking me if I’m okay and such to which I haven’t yet responded because I’m in such a bad emotional state as of now that I wouldn’t like to say or do something that I will later regret. Can you please give me some advice on what to do? I’m feeling very distressed and emotional, don’t really know what I want or how to go about this situation. Thanks so much in advance.

It should not be defined by any form of validation but it depends on the actions that we take and refuse to do. We only lose our chance if we give up. There is always a chance to work things out if you are committed and willing to put in the work. If you're just going to give up at the first road bump you hit, then all bets are off.

HI Donatas, I'm sorry to hear about what happened. Given that she had just broke up with an ex then started dating with you, it could also be that she is not that fully emotionally unavailable to be in a relationship. This usually happens if the person has not fully healed from their previous breakup.
