This video was suggested via KZbin, so I thought that I'd check it out because I like watching hair care talk vids occasionally. Her info is solid. She hits all of the points regarding cleansing, moisture, friction, internal health, and trimming. Sticking to these made significant impact on my hair/scalp health. The only thing I had to change was using shampoo. It took me a while to realize that shampoo was too harsh for my hair and scalp, and it was contributing (majorly) to dryness and hair breakage (co-washing didn't work either). Now, I only do apple cider vinegar rinses to cleanse my hair and scalp, and in combo with my regimen, dryness isn't an issue anymore. My scalp also stays cleaner longer. 😊

A head full of healthy hair doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the accumulation of all the little things you do. I really think of hair care as one of the ultimate habit stackers. No matter how much a person might do “the most,” what shows is how compatible their efforts are with their hair. I’m inclined to think there’s no “easy” hair, just hair you take the time to figure out or hair you’re still trying to force into doing something it doesn’t want. All of your tips are pretty spot on for me. I need the reminders for the stretches where I’m just holed in my house with my hair in two flat twists. My hair is pretty much chillin anytime it’s not on “display.” It’s easy to slide from easy-going to lazy natural. So videos like this keep me firmly on the easy-going side. When I’m being lazy, thoughts like, “Well, I don’t have to baggy my ends since I’m not going anywhere.” Creep in 😅 I’ll watch a video like this one and be like, “Well, I’m not going nowhere, so I might as well baggy my ends with some coconut oil so my ends will be extra juicy the next time I go out for brunch.”😂💖

Hi there, First and foremost, thank you for all you do!!!! A new Stylist ripped thru my dry 4c hair, fine high porosity hair with a brush, from the roots. Now my breakage is from the roots, other than trims.. i get my hair actually cut every 8 weeks. How should I proceed with all of these tiny short pieces from my roots. I don’t use heat, my hair is 8 inches long. Thank you so much!! Also, if this happened to your hair type, would you cut all of your hair off for a fresh start???
