Super helpful! I can honestly say that the Precision Applicators made learning gel application so much easier for me personally. It really does force you to learn how to float the product and not be so heavy handed. I also used Tracey's trick of using the back end (handle) of the brush for a long time. Once I was comfortable with the movement and amount of pressure to use, I moved on to using the actual brush. I used to get big bubbles all over. But these tricks really helped me. You all are so amazing!!!

Love the way you all teach, I’ve learned so much from each of you! I work with hard gel, not acrylic and Melissa has taught me so much as far how to work with the product! I really don’t think as a beginner my sets would be as good as they are if it weren’t for everything I’ve learned here. Like seriously, even my very first set people were like "😱 mine never looked that good when I started" 😅 but I do see now why I’m getting the few air bubbles I’m getting. I don’t have the precision gel, but I’d like to get some eventually.

I’ve personally found that bubbles are inevitable. Even the correct nail in the video had tiny bubbles in the free edge BUT this definitely helps avoiding bigger bubbles that are noticeable, it’s a game changer for sure! If it were possible to have a completely bubble free crystal clear nail, or a way to pop the tiny bubbles, that would be amazing! 😩 absolutely love Melissa and her hard gel videos! She’s the QUEEN 👑

What if there is already air bubbles in the gel before applying? How do you get rid of the air bubbles inside the gel?
@youngnailsinc11 күн бұрын
Usually if you let them sit for a while, the bubbles will come up to the surface. You can use a brush or orange wood stick to pop them on the surface. The challenge is to keep from getting bubbles in the first place 😊 If you need to mix your gels, stir them gently & try not to “whip” air into it. If you are getting bubbles in your gel when you are picking up product & pulling a string of it, keep your brush closer to the surface & let the string break away before you move across the jar.

What would I do to get rid of the bubbles in my pot already? 😩 can this create fungus/bacteria?
@youngnailsinc2 жыл бұрын
Usually with thinner gels, if you let the pot settle, the bubbles will rise to the top and can pop on their own or you can use a clean dotting tool (or other clean tool) to pop them. Gel is not an environment that encourages bacteria/fungal growth so just having bubbles in your product will not cause this. If there is bacteria on the nail and you do not cleanse it and then apply product over it, this can trap the bacteria and encourage the growth.

@liannen73113 жыл бұрын
@@marionhoran9559 you could get away with just base and either build or clear sculpture. But as was mentioned on here. Base gel is necessary to anchor the products properly but creates too much heat to use a thick coat. Build is much thinner and runnier then clear sculpture.
