Hi Gail, We have a Musica ourselves. While backflushing the machine leaks from the rear and also right from under the pressure gauge. I still get the dirty water soapy water in the tray. What could be the reaason for the leaking? Many thanks

Yes- any machine with a three way solenoid valve can be back flushed like this :)

Hey Gail - I tried to backflush my Oscar II this morning, but when I did, no water came back out through the valve - there just seems to be pressure through the portafilter? Actually, I went to backflushing because this morning's brew wasn't coming through (yes, I know I should've maintained more often!) with the same problem. Coffee yoda wisdom please?

Take off the brew head screen, see if water will come through without the portafilter on. If it does, clean behind the brew head screen, replace, then backflush like crazy :D You should ideally get soapy suds while backflushing in the drip tray. Juanpi you have no way to descale the musica or oscar unless you take apart the boiler
