I just made this today. For the topping, I melted 3/4 cup of sugar and poured it into the buttered bundt pan. Baked as directed and inverted after 1-hour of cooling. Amazing, delicious, and so beautiful! I topped it with fresh strawberries. Also, I've found that the best non-stick bundt is the Wilton brand. Thank you, Claudia! ❤

I always make chocoflan where you just dump the flan mixture on top of the chocolate cake mixture... it always separates fine but doesn't look as neat as I'd like. I tried it this way and I loved how the layers looked so perfect and separate! I think this will be my new way to make chocoflan! :)

Just made this for the very first time. Had to alter the time since I didn’t have a Bundt cake pan. I used a dark glass pan. Baked the flan for 35 minutes and then the cake for 75 minutes. And now for my best part.......the taste test! Thank you so much Claudia for this recipe.
