Does yours run better?

What causes the imbalance? Also.. did you raise one side or lower one side to balance them?

great seeing you today, Sir!! I am wondering if you can download a screen recording app that would allow you to share the phone screen with us without impediment from the sun/reflection? As always, great video!!

Likewise!! Hope you can make it to the next livestream too 🤘 You make a good point! I'm gonna look into a screen recording app

so did you actually make the adjustments while bike was on running connected to tune ecu ? or did you turn bike off to make adjustments each time since you warn against starting bike having torx key in adjustment screw , and or touching throttle while connected to tune ecu ? confused a bit ....... please clarify thanks
@NicePantsLance3 жыл бұрын
I made the adjustments while the bike was idling and connected. Just make sure the key isn't in the adjustment screw when you first start it up. Start it up, get it idling, then you can make adjustments while it idles. With the torx key in the adjuster, don't touch the throttle. If you wanna rev the bike to see how the balance is throughout the rpms, you gotta take the torx key out of the adjuster first. Hope this helps

Thanks for sharing the video. How much difference is acceptable on a 2019 Speed Twin?
@NicePantsLance6 ай бұрын
I think you want them atleast within 10 hpa of each other.

I do not have Cylinder information on my Adjustments screen regardless of being connected or not, what am I doing wrong?
@NicePantsLance Жыл бұрын
That's not really a question i can answer without seeing your app directly. Make sure you have the latest installment of TuneEcu. Make sure your registration info is correct as well. When you open the app on your phone, swipe to the right and you'll see the adjustments page. If not, keep searching through the tabs and menus till you find it

@@NicePantsLance I just figured that my ECU (SAGEM) does not support that... If I switch the ECU to another one the Adjustments dashboard changes and displays the cylinders' info. I ended up getting a tool to manually sync the idle air intake for the 3 cyl of my 97 Daytona. Thanks!

Ah that explains it!! Man im jealous. Those 955i Daytonas sound wicked! Glad it all worked out 🤘

The blanking screw size....Is it 5mm by 10mm long?....thanks for any info.
@NicePantsLance2 жыл бұрын
That sounds correct but I'm not 100% certain. Sorry!

I took the clamp off and rotated it 180° so the screw is facing the other direction. Now it is facing out to the right side of the bike. It will never be in the way again.

I did the same thing! It was a pain in the ass to reach beforehand lol 👍

Good video, clean that rust off your chain brother! HAHA
@NicePantsLance3 жыл бұрын
Shit I was hoping nobody would notice 😭 haha thanks I'm gonna take a wire brush to it today. Good thing it's an internally lubricated o-ring chain or I'd be in big trouble lol

@@NicePantsLance Yeah, brother, Its time for a new chain on my 2018 TTR. (I got a ant man movie bike) I take my headlight fuse out when I use the Tunecu as well but its probably not needed. I normally don't need inspiration to ride because my neighbor uses a speed triple as a daily driver and if I hear that, I'm on the bike shortly there after, but this vid beat him to it!
@NicePantsLance3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! 🤘 i actually remapped my bike with the headlight fuse in the first time. The battery drained to almost nothing 😭 luckily it finished the reprogramming before it died. I learned my lesson lol always pull that fuse when remapping! Ride safe out there 🤘 love those speed triples. I wanna test ride one for my channel

The hardest part of that job for me was putting that f-&#$! blanking screw back in! PITA!
@NicePantsLance2 жыл бұрын
As long as you can move the clamp out of the way it shouldn't be too difficult! 👍 glad you were able to get it in 😁
