My drop shot story during a hot Florida summertime one day tournament. The one time I was hoping not to be in the first flight and sure enough I was in the first flight. My fishing partner and I ran about 3 miles and shut down, waiting for the other flights of boats to go. I then ran back towards a concrete bridge that were supported by a total of 24 concrete pillars. The bridge was about a 1/4 mile away from the tournament flight area. We started fishing with a drop shot rig around each and every one of the concrete pillars. We went up and down under that bridge for 7.6 hours. My partner and I finished in 3rd place. We had fun catching fish, staying almost all the time out of the hot sun, and only burned about 2 gallons of fuel that day.

I picked up the 7’9” Jordan Lee rod and I think I’ve put about 50 fish on it and I think I’ve literally only lost like 3 fish it’s crazy! Also not to mention the current from those pleasure boaters fishing the mudline that they create is awesome too!

So for bank fishermen mabe don't be shy to take them shoes off and walk in the water for big shaded bass😊✌️
@joshpashia6373 ай бұрын
Fish those shade lines and matt edges . I almost exclusively use 10inch culprits and I always catch fish. Red shad later in the evening tequila sunrise in the shade lines seems to work best. Just fish them slow they come running out for it.

Not always deeper.....shallower water on some lakes has the O2 that holds them super shallow. Now shade, and cover, yes. Gotta show down too.

A weightless worm with good action and 4/0 hook works good, but you have a very sensitive rod and sense of touch. They are inactive from the heat, so a single cast can take minutes to retrieve. The fast you work the worm, the less luck you’ll have.
