In this video, I'm sharing my 3 successful tips to be a better manager and leader at work.
➡️ Be a better leader by creating a safe work environment.
Ensure you have a psychologically safe work environment. I'll also show you how to create one. Empower your team to have a voice allowing them to contribute to the growth of the company. Let the members of your team know that you welcome their ideas.
➡️ Be a better boss by being a road block remover.
Be available to answer critical questions. Make sure you're a roadblock remover; not a roadblock. I'll show you how.
➡️ Be a better manager by providing structure to empower your team.
Use your company vision statement as a tool. Have a priority board. Create a team activity list.
The most successful leaders create a safe work environment, are roadblock removers, and empower their team. Become a better manager by following these 3 impact tips.

Great video. I believe that providing a safe environment is one of the most important things that a leader can do. It truly does allow team members to contribute in a more creative fashion.

At this time, I manage just myself. But I found your tips very interesting. I always wondered about the purpose of vision statements. I found them very general.

Leadership practice: you can be "friendly" with staff but NOT "friends." It's a fine line, but it shouldn't be crossed or they won't (consciously and/or subconsciously) have respect for you. But one shouldn't be a dictator, LOL. Empower your team, respect your team, for sure! Always! :)

Hi Stacey...it is a fine line. I think this why the saying goes..."It's lonely at the top". This is why it's important for leaders to connect with other leaders to share issues and great ways of working.
