TEDx Talks

Күн бұрын

After graduating in History from Peterhouse, Cambridge, Lawrence worked in the City before setting-up his own speech writing business. His approach rests on a simple assumption: when we feel under pressure, our desire to come across as 'professional' leads us to speak and write in unappealing, often boring, ways. Lawrence is passionate about redressing this.
He founded 'Great Speech Witing and Communication', a boutique business providing communications support for individuals and businesses around the world. He writes for Heads of State, politicians, CEOs and leaders in sport, fundraising, and business as well as private individuals looking to shine at social events and dinners. For many years he has specialised in writing TEDx and TED talks to help great people transfer their brilliant ideas into memorable, inspirational speeches. . This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I tend to integrate things I learn into a bigger picture of understanding and perspective more so than remember specific facts or things that were said. You can rest assured that your speech will have an impact on me even if I can't recount one thing that you said.

The good news is that public speaking skills can be learned. Learn those skills and start looking for public speaking opportunities so that you can gain experience. It’s that simple.

Subject : Exciting collaboration opportunity for your youtube video Dear [ ted x talk channel owner ], I am a huge fan of your content and have been inspired by your videos. I have a proposal that i believe could be mutually beneficial. I’d like to dub your videos into another language and upload them to reach a wider audience. I am willing to take care of all the work involved, including translation and dubbing . In return, I’m suggesting a 50 - 50 revenue share for our collaboration. This partnership could potentially open up new horizons for your content and help it recreate with a global audience . I’m confident that together , we can achieve great results. If this idea intrigues you, please let me know , and we can discuss the details further . I’m excited about the prospect of working together and amplifying the reach your fantastic videos. Looking forward to your response. Best regards, [ankush]
