Can't believe you got Seth Godin, that in itself deserves applaud. You are hands down becoming one of the best interviewers ever, period. Knowing when to be quiet, and knowing when to prime the pump gets the best out of your guests. You have mastered this. I can listen to the same guest on Lewis Howes, Seth Rogan, Chase Jarvis and I get the most when they are on Impact Theory. I think it's because you are asking and probing what your community wants. What I'm building you have personally had a major impact on. Thank You and Thank You for getting Seth!!

That's true SedaleM because it's all testing until something actually works. Many people view the testing process as failure instead of testing a hypothesis. It is a mindset shift to discover that we can test ideas and see if they work and that's okay.

Seth Godin is one of the most transformative characters in my life. I encountered his work more than 10 years ago, and without his ideas, I would not have been able to build the business I have today. He has greatly influenced me, miles away here in the Philippines. Teresa Cole , Seth actually goes further than that to say “You” already are unique and would easily stand out in “the marketplace” and that its of value to develop on the many levels that have not been attended to (read developed) that support beyond the lower potential of merely “Fitting in” This whole notion grows from the “lynchpin” idea of learning and growing through knowing what we don’t know........... of ourselves!

I literally enjoy my no ad KZbin educational channels more than any other form of entertainment and it’s really all I wanna do in my free time. In one month I’ve changed my entire life and a lot of it is from the inspiration motivation and change of thought pattern I have gotten from these videos. I wake up early in the morning meditate take a long walk to the gym while listening to educational videos. By 1 o’clock all of my tasks are completed and I have to find more positive things to do so I usually just watch more of your videos. Thank you thank you thank you!!! 🙏🏽

Tom you are a brilliant interviewer, who truly makes his guest feel valued and appreciated with the spectacular manner in which you introduce them. Moreover, it is not only the brilliant intros that make your podcast stellar in nature but also the manner in which you truly ask insightful and well though out questions that provide great value to the audience. Additionally, as an interviewer you have managed to strike the perfect balance between being present and leading the interview, while also allowing the interviewee to take their time answering the questions posed, a trait that is hard to find in many podcasts and interviews. I truly recommend all viewers to see the manner in which Gary Vaynerchuck interviewed Seth Godin and contrast that with the manner in which Tom conducted his interview as there is a world of the difference with regards to the dynamic shared between the interviewer and interviewee.

I was a winner of one of the 15 minute conversations with Tom Bilyeu back when the site reached 500,000 subscribers. It was really great to talk to him - such an honor! I asked what one piece of advice he would give for success. I liked his answer, but this: break up each goal into "survivable failures" may be the most ingenious advice ever! Two reasons: 1. You can never fail beyond recovery. 2. You prepare your mind from the get go that there will be failure, so you will neither be paralyzed by the fear of failure nor surprised when it happens. That just may be my new mantra. "What is the next survivable failure in acheiving my goal". It's oddly optimistic. 😊

Holy wow - it's past 3 a.m., I'm exhausted, and my brand new journal is overflowing with all the aha! moments and inspirational ideas generated in this past hour's worth of interview gold. The only thing I could ask for regarding this video is to have found it sooner! I'm a long-time fan of Seth Godin's work and what he stands for - and I am beyond grateful for all of the knowledge gems packed into just one interview. But I'm most impressed with this interview process itself. As a recovering journalist, I'm intimately aware of how rare it is to have an interviewer as on pointe as Tom Bilyeu is during this video. I lost count of how many times his insightful, deeply researched, heartfelt questions made my inner nerd's heart pitter-patter, each earning Seth's delighted and impressed smile. Well done, sir! GAME-CHANGING hour (plus copious notetaking time) of my life, thank you! Now, sleep! I have 2+ years of your videos and Seth's magic to catch up on! (And resulting action items to get started with!)

What an amazing interview with Seth Godin. Seth made it very clear that society isn't set up for creative thinkers but rather to produce subordinates who operate in a system. We have an incredibly broken school system that is still geared towards generating industrial workers. His response to that system has been remarkable as he focuses on "how to do things in the world that leave a better trail to help people." It's crazy that Seth has turned down many profitable opportunities to focus on "what matches the promises he has made to the world." It's clear that our focus shouldn't be about the next dollar but rather how we can add value to the people we serve. There were so many golden nuggets here. Seth talked about how so many people lack faith in themselves for no good reason. "How can someone say that they aren't a good writer when they don't have a ton of bad writing to prove it?" That philosophy encouraged me to write more instead of focusing on what I think wouldn't work. Like Seth said, "if you have bad writing someone can help you get better, but if you don't have any writings then how can you get better?" Since watching this interview with Seth so many times, I've seen an improvement in my business and blogging efforts. I literally shifted my focus to a greater cause, and I practice my skills to improve each day. This was very insightful and life-changing. bit.ly/tdcpartner

Amazing!! Empowering brought me to tears. One of the greatest lessons I've learned from Seth Godin is nobody is coming to rescue any of us, we have to rescue ourselves. The only way anyone can rescue themselves is if they truly believe in what they are doing. I do believe in what I am doing. It is not in me to concede regardless of being rejected countless times. I Witness each little successes as it affirms my pursuit. My passion comes from the knowing within me that I am adding to the greater good of the whole. In oneness with each other, not division, is where true success blooms.

Great interview! I liked the way Seth emphasized the fact that we are living in a period where connections are important, and if you are lucky to meet/find somebody who inspires you, you can achieve great things. A key moment for me was when I found this channel. I am convinced that after a year while I watched the interviews each week, I have a different mindset. I am able and have the courage to do things that before I couldn't do, because I was afraid. But, as Seth said, fear is good to realize what you can do when you actually do. :) Thank you Tom for the interviews and I appreciate all you effort with Impact Theory. You rock!

Seth's interviews are always amazing to listen to. But, Tom I have to applaud your questions and the level of presence you bring to every interview. How much attention you give to every word coming from the person in the other chair, is always something that stands out to me. I loved how to started to go into 'Impact Quote mode' at the end of the interview. Great interview man!
