Also my tips for happiness : 1. Being more mindful about what I eat 2. Try to do something good for other person everyday, it can be even calling your parents or smiling at stranger 3. Get up early and meditate - it helps to keep your mind "clean" 4. Don't regret anything you did in the past and consider it a lesson you can learn from 5. Step out of your comfort zone and don't be afraid being judged

Annie I couldn’t thank you enough for this upload. It’s been raining here in San Diego. Instead of a podcast or audible today I decided to hop on your channel. I have been going through a very sensitive time in my life. My dad recently passed away, I felt helpless not to be able to go home due to the pandemic. I feel so much is going on, my mum is alone back home. I’m in the midst of opening my business. Sorry for putting my dirty laundry here!!! I wanted to thank you and write to you from mu heart. This video uplifted and cheered me up to see a brighter tomorrow to come out where I am . I’m feeling this amazing energy running through my body and I’m ready to take up the challenge and create this amazing routine which I fell off month ago after my dad got sick.. Thank you again for what you d. lots of blessings your way. I wish we could meet in real life someday. Xoxoxo ❤️

Annie you are so spot on. I have pretty much being applying all these points in my life for the last 6 yrs. just this past week, I was not chosen for a job I wanted when I receive their email saying to me that they had moved forward with another candidate, my first thought-to my own surprise after working on myself-, was ‘Something better is coming my way, I do not know what is is but all I know is bigger and better. The other is: I have truly learned to forgive ppl who have hurt me pretty bad, (they may not deserve it) but allows me to move forward with my feelings and myself, also be content and feel I am in a whole completely different spiritual level than most.

I think it’s really worthwhile to say that no one should aspire to be happy all the time as to experience a full range of emotions is what life is all about. To be a conscious and present observer of the peaks and troughs of life is a more valuable goal I think 👍🏻 and to know that this too shall pass whether it’s good or bad xxx

The more I progressed through life, the more I noticed that happiness is something that I choose, as opposed to something that happens to me. Thank you for reminding me of this with your video. Also I learned a good little bit of wisdom that if just because other people are bad in their behaviour towards others behaviour, it doesn't mean that you should sacrifice your best version because other people can't meet you there, and be resentful and negative. This aligns with your "bad karma" theory. Thanks for making my day better :) had a lot of stress at work and this reminded me to be grateful for the tings I am taking for granted. :) Wish you the best!

That's why prayer is so powerful, because it lets you self reflect on your day, everything you are blessed to have, the goals you want to achieve and having faith that things will work out. It's an all in one encompassing task :) Love it

So much wisdom Annie! I've made a note of the 'drinking your own poison! I love that! And the revenge one. I always think the best thing to do is ignore when someone hurts us and forgive. I see that as a strength, but most people see that as a weakness, that you should always fight back. But the only person you are really hurting is yourself by getting angry and stressing yourself out. We've all got something to be grateful for, it's just that we sometimes take those things for granted and don't always think of them. Great video, thanks Annie! 😄 x

I think it's important to understand that these things are *actions. I used to think if I magically get in bed earlier, make sure I have plenty of sleep, give up all my favorite fast foods, and not get annoyed at small things that I'll magically be happy. But what I didn't understand was that those things *are the happiness because of the way you feel about yourself when you do them. It goes back to what she said about confidence, you instill confidence when you follow through with your own goals or even those small daily tasks. You do those things with intention, in the moment, fully aware and understanding, instead of doing them and then sitting in your living room waiting for the reward.

Hey Annie, LOVED this video. I think this is one of your BEST videos in my opinion because it affects and relates to every single person. I love when you do videos like this (even though I'm also a fan of your travel videos). Funnily enough, I am required to do a Mental Health First Aid trainer course today which I just started on, and it correlates with what you're saying. I feel like as we get older, we are so caught up in life - work, family etc. that we forget to check in on ourselves and every person at some point in their life will question their happiness and seek answers and do some self-reflection, so the earlier people are able to practice or seek ways to be happy, the less likely their mental health will be affected. I loved when you said "Where our attention goes, our energy flows". I've also made a vision board with general inspirational quotes that I've found on the internet like "Either you run the day, or the day runs you" and "Every thought we think is creating our future". Thank you for making and sharing this video Annie, it was beautiful because it was relatable :)

Hey Annie! I love that you've been opening up to us more over the past year and I've been loving your videos. In case you're ever running out of video ideas (although I'm sure you're not), could you maybe talk to us a little bit more about your background? I know you're quite private about it, but I think it would be cool for us to get to know you a bit more. E.g. how was growing up in Sweden? Do you still speak Swedish? Do you identify as Swedish? How did your parents meet? Did you have both / all cultural / ethnic influences while you were growing up? What culture do you identify most with? Have you ever experiences racism / discrimination due to your cultural heritage / ethnicity? Do you have any cultural aspects in common with Mo? Completely respect if you don't want to talk about this, but thought it would be an interesting topic!

Very inspirational message. I strongly believe in karma and always try to do the right thing to others. It really does come back to you when you least expect it. I try each day to give someone a compliment ie: what a lovely blouse, that color on you is beautiful. Let me help you load those groceries into the car. May I buy your coffee. Recently, I complimented a woman on the beautiful color of her blouse in a store. She burst into tears and told me this was the nicest thing anyone had told her in a long time. It makes you realize that you do not know what others are going through.

🌸If I had to choose between joy and happiness, I will choose joy time and time again. This is because happiness is a feeling of euphoria based upon external circumstances. So you’re happy because something happened or because somebody did something and you’re sad when something didn’t happen or somebody you were counting on didn’t do something and you feel let down. _____ 🌸Basing your happiness on an external source be it a person or a thing is a recipe that will leave your emotions fluctuating like a yo-yo. Why would you allow a person or a set of circumstance to have that much power over you? _____ 🌸Joy on the other hand is maintaining a disposition which says whether this happens or not and whether you do this for me or not my ultimate trust is in God and I know that when circumstances change or when people change, with God “...there is no variation or shadow of turning”-(James 1:17) and “...we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good...”(Romans 8:32). _____ 🌸This truth keeps my joy levels up and I thought to share. Hope it encourages someone. _____ 🌸“...In God’s presence is fullness of joy;at His right hand are pleasures forevermore”-(Psalm 16:11)-This is the golden key to lasting joy.

I really enjoyed this video. I think my faves are when you talk about your skincare because that’s an interest of mine and also I wonder if you can talk more about your meditation practice, spirituLity, and how you’ve been able to manifest things you want in your life. I think a lot of us live in the daily work grind and that can get a little monotonous so how to come out of that to manifest bigger and better things because I think you are someone who has been able to come away from the daily grind to some extent and we will benefit from your wisdom:) ( also, please no vision boards) just kidding sort of 😝
