"The decision is not the outcome, the outcome is not the decision!" Don't hold onto the bad beats just ask if you made the right decision, learn if you didn't and move on. I'm learning it right now, love this. WOW "A slow and steady loss of chips" *lightbulb for me*

Ah! So true, Lisa! As it is with so many things in life... the most simple things are oftentimes the most difficult! ❤️ Thank you for sharing!

The biggest takeaway for me was recognizing the difference between the human's natural state for mind wandering... to see 'what's going to kill me'... to PAYING ATTENTION. This is something I notice every day during meditation when there are no real threats, but my min constantly wanders. I can't wait to read this book as well as Konnikova's other books. Truly looking forward to learning and mastering this new skill. :-)

Remembering my personal Zen to focus on the positive & reflecting on my reactions as a learning tool, yes! Finding a successful rhythm for myself :) Looking forward to reading the book. Thank you Suzie for this great resource. You are a gem!

LOVED THIS CHAT!! So many incredible takeaways and i am huge fans of you both. Some of my favourites ' TILT' when the emotion is incidental not integral know the difference - the decision is not the outcome and the outcome is not the decision - care about 'how you play' the decision you made and WHY you made it. And finally 'Nobody knows what cards you hold but you'... such a metaphor for life too! Love it Susie.

What "tilts" me? How am I feeling? What is the trigger? What can I do next time? Reflection vs. reaction. Wow, love this interview. Thanks for sharing! :)

Biggest takeaway 'take a lot less shit'! and confront this male dominated world, which I am trying to do by breaking down societal norms.
