I kinda hate that everyone blames social media for these issues. These low confidence issues a lot of us have all existed long before social media was a thing.

VMYeahVN Before there was social media, there were TV and magazines to twist your expectations of what is normal. If it were not for media, what would you base your ideas of beauty or success? You would base them on people who you actually met in real life.

you there who's reading this comment, want to get rid of that evil voice in your head that tell you you're not worthy enough ? Well 1- start meditating twice a day for 15 minutes at least preferably once when you wake up and once before you go to sleep 2- stop fapping 3- realize that you won't die from most of the things you do so it's safe to try 4- the people who judge you don't matter to you and they don't deserve you 5- do what makes you happy be productive do somthing you love and focus on it 6- realize failure is an inevitable part of success without failure no sucess you will never successed if you have never failed 7- every feeling you feel good or bad is coming from your mind not the outside world get that in your mind (with meditation you will understand this) 8- (Bonus) cut sugar from your diet it raises cortisol which raises stress 9- (Bonus) start working out feeling strong in your body will make you strong mentally 10- finally always remember to breath deeply & slowly for one month you will notice the big diffrences *Believe it till you Recieve it* all of us are full of doubts and insecurties you are not the only one

Duuude, we have to change. The shadowy negative part of yourself has to die before we can be reborn into the person we can become. You have to want to be a butterfly so much that you decide to leave the caterpillar behind. Amazing concept. Evolve, grow, expand, re-invent yourself, and in the making, live the life you truly desire.

All things I did in the past year that I had to learn on my own. -Accept what you can't change about yourself. -Change what you can change that you don't like about yourself -When negative thoughts come into your head, shut them up. -Exercise -Take good care of your appearance (groom, clothes), I used to not care too much about that but I love to look good now. -Don't worry about what other people think of you, It's what you think about yourself that matters. People are unconsciously afraid to change because they identify themselves as the person they are now and that they're scared they won't be the same person if they do change when in fact it's a good thing and they're just preventing themselves from being the best "Them" they can be.

Talking to the camera and putting the videos on youtube was a big step last year, now I don't even think about it anymore. Feels good to be confident! Thx for the insights!

1. Figure out what your insecurities/weaknesses are and own them. 2. Stop comparing yourself to other people, compare yourself to previous versions of yourself. 3. Focus on the positive in your life, and not the negative (Law of Attraction). 4. Reduce cognitive dissonance (when what you think/feel differ from your actual behavior). 5. Stop listening to your inner critic. 6. Groom, dress, and look nice. This will manifest in your actions/thoughts. 7. Set small goals and achieve them. 8. Surround yourself with confident people (you are the average of the 5 ppl you hang out with) 9. Be appreciative and grateful, don't take anything for granted.

OMG I'm right :D I'm about to change myself for a girl I like.. that's my motivation to change.. I started to read one chapter every day to improve my language, started to run one time around the block every day. I also started to talk with strangers, so like check your brake lights, they need to be fixed. Yesterday I thought about things that I like on me and I also try to eat less fast food/unhealthy food. Nearly every day in the last years wasn't good or fun for me, so I tried to change. As soon I was changing the school, everything turned better and better. I started to practice my English. So thank you for the video. It's a sign for me.

im glad i found this and all of these videos that you do really help, it has answered a lot of questions that ive been trying to find the answers to for years, and it just brought up more questions. i wish i could be this helpful as you are, i like to help people too, sometimes i think i try to hard and either bother people or push them away though. body language can show a lot about a person, and instead of focusing on myself ive tried to help others instead. i realize i couldnt do much to help when there was a lot i needed to work on for myself

I enjoyed your video. I'd also like to add that for me personally, visualization has been a very powerful tool. When I have no choice but to be around people that I don't want to be around (or just don't want to be around at that moment), I imagine myself shrouded in an energy field that repels negative thoughts, or simply other people's influence. It doesn't have to be my visual, use your imagination and what fits you. For anyone who's watched the anime "HunterxHunter", I imagine I am surrounded by my nen in these instances. You can use this to feel more confident, or to do things you normally wouldn't do. If you are having trouble with negative feelings towards someone, you can imagine sending waves of "loving kindness" towards them, and in my experience the negative feelings will eventually abate. The point of this technique is that it has no limits, and can be applied to anything. Visualization utilizes the power of your imagination to help you reorient your thoughts and feelings to match your desires and achieve your desired outcome.

Say what you feel, I totally agree with avoiding cognitive dissonance. A friend to all is a friend to none, take sides and have beliefs that may turn some people away, because then you will find true friends. Don't only engage in small talk, and if you do, bring attention to the elephant in the room. If you say "Gee, the weather sure is great", follow that up with "Not that discussing the weather qualifies as an actual conversation". But maybe that's just my approach, truly the sooner you start talking about your feelings about events rather than just the physical events the faster you can share your true self and be a confident person who doesn't care about fitting in. Think of how you are with your closest friends and then act similarly with new people. Don't wear a mask of geniality and don't try to be everyone's friend no matter what. Don't pick fights but just be honest and open. People appreciate authenticity, whether that's in terms of a romantic relationship or a friendly relationship. Also to the guys who write "Stop masturbating" on all these videos, please stop. That may help you but only because you're setting a reasonably achievable goal, not because that is the be all, end all of confidence building.

Another thing that helped me with self confidence was hearing a phrase: "you should always be polite". Up to that point I always worried about fitting in. Hearing that phrase made me realize that there is one correct way to behave and anyone who expected me to act differently was wrong. That realization removed a lot of pressure in social situations.

This video just reinforces everything I've done over the past 3/4 years to grow more confident. If anyone reads this and is low on confidence; THIS ACTUALLY WORKS. 3/4 years ago I was and had always lived my life as a loser who hates the way i look, talk (i had a lisp which i've since lost after growing more confident and talking more) and act. However, when i started forgiving myself, searching for every single positive thing about myself, as well as seeing where i'm strong and where i can improve; I started seeing myself as a better version of myself. Also whilst this comment is so damn long, I might as well recommend to stop comparing yourself to others and accepting the things you cannot change, because they just bring unnecessary negative emotions into your life. If anyone needs any advice to grow more confident and live a better life; I'll reply to any replies below this to help you ;). Thanks for reading!

I like this guy... Been dwelling in the past because of hurtful words molding me as I grew from my aunt. I struggle to this day with confidence now and I know I'm not ugly because people have thought I looked like a cross between Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp! This doesn't really matter though as I need to give myself a kick in the Butt to try and approach beautiful girls...
