Btw, version mismatch - those two chests in the beginning are locked in Gothic 2 Night of the Raven. They are not locked only in original Gothic 2. But the point of the video is tablets dupe - and tablets are from NoTR content. Same for teleport behind orc in a cave - in NoTR it is not working by default, you need to finish water mages quests - activating this teleport in the process. And it still won't teleport you to shown location, not even close, it also looks like original Gothic 2 behaviour.

The teleport in the cave works just like that. Also, it ports you as it's shown. In Gothic 2 Vanilla there is no teleport system like that, it was only added in NotR.

At this point you can just set needed stats with Marvin. Dupe of tablets is no better than directly cheating. My hearth cringed at such wasteful usages of Fire Storm and Mass Ice Block. Btw, what patch are you playing? Because glitch with strafing through guards, and looting vendors were both fixed like forever ago. Also very cheeky cut there, right before jumping into the lake at 1:57 - cause swimming can sometimes reset animation glitch from black ore. Not very convenient situation to show for such a "top-tier" speedrun, huh?

first "trick" with the Beliar statue gives you 500 gold but reduces your health -10, especially on the lower levels you need hp. 0:45 merchant Zuris have new shipments in every chapter, new scrolls, new potions but also constant effect potions of strenght, mana and hp so when you kill him so early you lost a whole damn a lot. That trick with being faster works until you restart or load the game, than you will be slow again and you lost black ore. So most of that "super magic tricks" are just unprofitable, I do not recomend doing this, looks fun but its a crap

Once you start duping tablets, you might as well just use the console to edit your stats. The rest is fair game imo, expect glitching through the map to reach Raven of course.

Bug abuse is different from console cheats. In G1 you can also get infinite Str by re-equiping a str ring during a specific point in the game. As long as its in the game and you're not doing anything you shouldn't be like bringing up console it's fine.
