That tip about humour is very good. I've learnt humour by basically watching tv shows with comedy like Friends and then analysing each joke. I would also repeat it to myself and learn how to perfect the timing as well.

TIP #1 ; Develop your sense of humor - watch more comedy shows, steal other people's jokes to start off TIP #2: Get out of your head - people are focused on themself, not you TIP #3: Tell good stories TIP #4: Don't judge others - be empathetic to others perspectives, don't try to argue, avoid sensitive topics, find commonalities TIP #5: Stay relevant - learn a little bit about a variety of topics, pay attention to current events so you can share TIP #6: Be vulnerable - don't overshare emotional baggage but open up slowly sharing small pieces, show you are human TIP #7: Ask interesting questions - don't get stuck in pleasant small talk, get people thinking with your questions to get them to open up TIP #8: Be genuinely interested in others - give them your full attention and be in the moment TIP #9: Find commonalities - we like people who are similar to us, use open ended questions to find information TIP #10: Be positive - no one wants to be around a negative person TIP #11: Give compliments - make an effort to see the best in others, praise efforts rather than physical appearence TIP #12: Appear more friendly - create a great first impression with open body language and genuine smile + eye contact TIP #13: Try new things - boring life leads to boring conversations, do novel activities on a regular basis

Exactly what I observed! It’s amazing how many of us find humor challenging in social settings, often worrying if we’ll be funny or just awkward. I’ve been there too, especially in group chats where I second-guess every joke. I joined the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x, and it taught me that humor is as much about shared experiences as it is about punchlines. The more we engage, the easier it gets! Keep embracing your uniqueness, and remember that humor can be a bridge to deeper connections.

The notion that "in reality, everyone thinks of theirselves only anyway" most of the time is wrong. They do still think about you, but not as great or as catastrophic as you think.
