Hey Sis I'm sure you're doing good so far. Working on your faith definitely helps. One of the biggest things is pacing yourself. Not trying to do it all at once amd we also have to be careful how we measure success. Certainly don't measure against what other people are doing. I see people with all the material comforts but so unhappy in their home. So Sis baby steps and keep going. I read or listen to something positive each day too. Zone out when I need to. Try to take 2 secs for yourself just to think about nothing. Wishing you all the best🙏

I love checkboxes in a to-do list, but I use them in a different way. When I start on an item, I shade in half of the box. Then I fill it all the way in when it's done. I draw an "x" through it if I decide not to complete it. I draw a forward arrow through the box if I move this item to another list. I started doing this when I started getting frustrated when I looked at my daily ToDo list & saw all the empty boxes when I _knew_ I spent a lot of time on those tasks. Anyway, that's my little thing that helped me motivate myself. I really appreciated this video because there are a lot of different areas you covered, and there's a lot of good advice. Thank you!

I pray everyday asking God for a shift and nothing smh. I’ve been at my job 7 years and I absolutely hate it. I’ve tried selling journals, becoming a brand ambassador, doing hair…nothing is working. I have an expensive mortgage and it seems like everybody receives so much support and able to quit their 9 to 5 but it hasn’t worked out for me. Hey, thank you Dr. Nina!! All the items you mentioned really hit home for me, especially the statement from Maya Angelou. I've been progressing in a lot areas by using a Bullet Journal ( BJ). There is a website and KZbin videos on how to use them. For me it is a catch all for all my goals, ideas, quotes, and tracking of what is going on in my life in a visual manner. Granted, it is a manual practice, but I find the manual process calming. Plus using my BJ keeps my creative juices on point because I dictate the format, colors, decals, etc. to use. Thank you for your inspiring info and take care.
