I vaccuum seal all my meats and chicken whether it be fresh from the store when it was onsale or after i've cooked them then vaccuum sealed. It is a game changer to fighting the system

Im so happy to see you do a video like this. I have suggested a Vacuum sealer to a few BBQ channel guys that dont have one. Im flaberghasted every person making BBQ doesnt have one. Yes this is the way I do it. After a cook I keep what I am eating that day or the next and seal and freeze the rest. Ribs are especially awesome to seal. Almost exactly pit quality upon reheat. I cooked 4 racks the other day and froze 3 racks (in1/2 rack pkgs). I can have 6 bones of ribs in about an hour just by wrapping in foil and thrown in an oven for an hour. Im basically shopping out of my freezer. Great video.

Exactly! The worst thing is if you cook a big piece of meat and then try to eat it all before it gets old. That 5th day is brutal. Freeze it and enjoy it later. Thanks for watching! Smoke on!!!

Just a couple of old people here. I love to cook a whole packer and slice it up, vacuseal, and freeze. The key is reheat slowly, like you do.

Absolutely love it. It’s not only the savings on the meal , there’s drinks and an icecream coming home. Dig yourself a vege garden and grow some basics like tomato, corn, climbing beans and peas ( most of which will freeze) Keep up these enlightening videos Vac we all love them. Robert down under

We keep a garden. I still enjoy going out with the family. But I eat better on average practicing these methods. Thanks for watching! Smoke on!!!

We have the same philosophy about eating as cheap as possible. I’ve got a vacuum chamber and love it, also please note vevor chamber units go for around 350 these days. Smoke on!

Yeah, I tend to over exaggerate when I think k something is too expensive. I actually plan to get one eventually. Thanks for watching and for the info. Smoke on!!!

I agree. His style is friendly, informal and has a normal nice American down-home feel. I feel he could be my cousin, even though I never met him. Very friend/family vibe. Just a nice normal guy.

I have found myself shopping for deals on food too. I spend too much at the brewery's and need to save somewhere 🤣 Safeway and Raley's always have sale and you can find bogo on chicken thighs, breasts or drums regularly. I load up and bought a vacuum sealer too. I feel like an adult 🤣😅

Definitely the way to do it. I never fire my smoker up to only cook one item. It’s getting loaded up and some freezer rations are being added to .

That was one thing that I intended to mention but left out. Smoking double when you smoke. Just for the leftovers. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. Smoke on!!!

I’ve done that for the last couple of years. Excellent idea about adding the butter to the chicken packages. Great video.

Very good topic. Another way is to vote him outta office… a lot of the fun is cooking these separately thru out the days and weeks.

I smoke all the time I also vacuum seal meals in advance but I use a stove top skillet type steamer I usually thaw the meat out in the morning then by super time you steam it and once your side dishes are done so will your meat the steam add moisture back in
