How to Beat Undead, Geists, and Necromancers - Battle Brothers Fight Guide

In this episode of the Battle Brothers Fight Guide, I take on a horde of zombies and ghosts. Keep a large frontline so that you can't get overrun, otherwise these fights go south fast. I recommend at least 7-8 frontliners.

Step one: get a ridiculous crew of bros with maxed out stats and equipment 😅they barely scratched your armor. Do it again with level 3 dudes in 100 armor!

Early game undead fights are in fact different because they usually aren't swarming you as in this fight, you have to react differently to geists and necros, and you probably don't have tanks. I admit that this isn't the best representation of a team for a video, but the gear ceiling for these fights is pretty low so it doesn't matter that much how good your company is beyond a certain point. Your point is not entirely invalid.

The way you deal with Zombies is cleavers. Use archers to destroy their armour and get them close to death, then Decapitate them. Once headless they can't be revived. Any headless corpse can't be revived. Also use hooked polearms as your backline melee as sometimes you get lucky and they decap a zed. If you can't decap them they will attrition you to death. Always have some cleavers in the stash specifically for these fights. To beat necrosavants, arrange the men in two squares with the tanks on the outside corners polearms in the middle corners archers in the middle, and a space between the formations. Ensure you have taunt on the tanks and that you have nets. Nets stop them from teleporting. Also those big twohanded cleavers from the south are really good against these guys. As are handgonnes for their spray value.

Well, to be fair, most people struggle with Geists specificly, because they treated resolve as a dump stat. This leads to your expensive brothers running for the hills after 2 to 3 screams. I know this, because I did that too when I first started playing. Undead are rather easy to manage... if they're not yeeting 20+ Geists at you that is. Anyways, I believe in you, you can do it!

yh the devs really failed at explaining these mechanisms you have to research for hours before you can be good in the game the game never explains mechanisms to you and none of them are self explainatory or things you would figure out by playing.

Flails do ignore shields but not shieldwall because what shieldwall does is increasing your melee defense. It has no correlation with the shield itself aside from statswise. Im a flail boy and I found out that the same brigand has more chance to dodge me if he shieldwalls. Sad.

1 question: it it possible to start as peasant militia and than to slowly convert them in cultists? if so, will there sacrifice happen later?

I am usin scale mode ,please try it. In these fight there is around 4 necromancers ,they are reapitatly rising dead and anime dead. It is really hard fights.try it and tell me your strategy how to deal with these menace.

Not going to download the mod, but I would fall back and start decapitating all the undead until the necros can't resurrect any more.

@@CarveaHole problem is not zombies ,problem is fallen heroes ,and lot of them.they get buff 3 attack with 2handed flails and axes)))

@@petardzopalic3220 Either use the necrofucker build to kill the necros or create chokepoints so that only like 3 zombies can hit you at a time.

It's the hybrid that goes around to kill the necro. Mdef is for if he gets caught in ZoC. It's basically the same build as a hybrid.

@@CarveaHole I don't recall an event dialog before the fight. I just remember seeing them approaching as Undead(5), and popping up as "some necrosavants". After a shitton of reloads, I got to finish it with just a permanent injury out of my 6 bros.

Depends, Fallen heroes have really nice weapons and exceptional armor for mid-game, so if youre competent enough to take em, theyre usually worth it. But the fights do take rather long, so I get how you feel.

Aw cmon you can't tell me kitting all your guys with cleavers and setting up a couple of gunners behind to blow the zombos caps off ain't fun. These were tough at first but now i usually get through these with no casualties most times.
