Hello! I am a dentist in Brazil and I am impressed with how much you study there! Here we have to finish high school with good grades and to give university entrance exams and then if we graduate in dentistry after 5 years ... I summarized a lot but basically that's it! I'm sorry if I wrote something in English that you did not understand because I'm still learning English ... I love your channel! Xoxo

Would it be un- wise for me to become a dentist at around 48 years old... Can I work till Im 70? Can I pay back those loans at my age when I would graduate - 48 ? I have a family of 3 kids - can you get housing allowance with financial aid because you can't work a job?
@TheAmericanSmile5 жыл бұрын
if you have already graduated college sure, why not. Depends how much you borrow, if you can pay it back in time. But i am sure it will be worth it. best of luck

Hello! I would like to ask, 1) after u finish dental school, you get your license to be a general dentist, and is able to start working and earning as a certified general dentist, correct? No compulsory residency etc is needed? 2) If you are interested in specialise in a specific area (for example pediatrics dentistry), you must first work as a general dentist for around 2 years, then apply for residencies programs in universities, in the case of pediatrics dentistry 2--3 years. After you have completed ur residency program in the universities, are u officially a certified pediatrics dentist and can start earning and working as one? I really appreciate your reply, thank you so much and sorry for bothering!!

You don't need to do a residency after dental school, it is optional. You dont have to have work experience to apply for a specialty , you can just apply when you graduate

You don't need no bachelor's degree or special education to become a dentist they should just open trade school and go straight for dental shouldn't take more than 2 years it's all about practice to be good in everything. all that
@TheAmericanSmile5 жыл бұрын
You dont have to have a bachelors degree but your competition probably will
