We’re close in age so I love seeing you navigate the ups and downs that is our early 20’s. There has been countless times where I relate to how you’re feeling and your views on self empowerment and growth. Love your self empowerment series 🙏🏽💜

I love her so much. The energy. The confidence. The consistency. Like, Vee you truly motivate young women please don’t stop! You’re motivating me to work hard to be the first in my family to attend an Ivy League College. Girl you’re just so powerful and amazing !

When ever I see this series I get hyped! Last year of A-Levels and I'm trying to get a good revision plan ready for the summer! I had a good day, did pretty well on a physics test and I was productive afterwards!

Thank you, Vee. I think I have spent 2021 being rejected, which then led to me having more negative thoughts like I am not good enough, etc. The videos you post every now and then keep me motivated and I'm trying to stay positive this year

Great advice Vee: I have tried to instill these same ideas and approaches in my children since they were v young. This advice is not only good for 20 somethings but for any age, any stage and any goal a person develops - from 5 to 105. One can look at example of this very thing in young children who people see, for instance, on talk shows where they have “incredible” skills - it is not about being born that way but so much more about putting in the work. Then you can look at people like Iris Apfel, who at over 100, is STILL a fashion icon, again not because she was born super styling, but by putting in the work. When my kiddos were young they would sometimes say, “I can’t,” to which I would respond: There is no such thing as “I can’t,” only “I’ll keep trying until I succeed.” Of course that doesn’t mean one can do absolutely EVERYTHING- that is not the point. The point is - self/confidence/self-belief is the first and ONLY way you will succeed at anything. Without, as you so rightly stated, you will get nowhere fast!

I love the energy, Vee! Your life, for me, is a documentary. You seem so aligned with your purpose that you are constantly bursting with positivity. I want to be like YOU when I grow up! Haha 😄. And I'm 9 years older than you BTW. Take care!

Hi Vee, thanks for this inspiring video! I myself am trying to pursue a PhD in education (especially history education). I applied last year, but I got rejected. They told me I was so close to getting it, but one other candidate was thought to be just a beter candidate (which is totally okay), but it still hurt. It really is a big dream for me to one day do a PhD in history education and I am anxiously waiting for a new position. This video will support me!

I needed this 🤍 I don’t remember the last time I was confident in myself😔 if there is one thing that I want, it is to become strong in the gym. I want to lift heavy weights. I want to do pull ups. I want a strong physique. So all I have to do is keep practicing at it, keep going & stay consistent with it. I just think the problem I have is that it’s never enough. I’m never satisfied. Right now I’m working on being able to do 50kg squats and keep practicing my pull ups. but even that isn’t getting me to the gym these days, I really want to be more consistent with it 😔

Hey Vee! Absolutely adore your content and channel, just had a question for you particularly with regards to point 2, at what point do you keep doing something without growing to despise it in a way? I.e. repetition is definitely important, but what advice would you have for someone who repeats something so much so that they grow tired? Or better yet, how do you not tire from doing something you love all the time especially when it comes to improving the thing itself?

My problem is I stammer and most often i talk to my self but immediately i step outside to speak to someone the first thing that comes to mind is people are going to laugh at me when i stammer and alone puts me off.
