Whenever you're sitting down and are not being productive, consider: 1. How much you consumed vs. how much you produced today. 2. Are you in control? Are you doing what you're doing now because you intentionally started doing it, or are you being swept away without realizing it?

Hey legends, quick update: I've taken the 'John Frazer' part out of the channel name. 'MagnatesMedia' better sums up the brand of this channel, since a Magnate is someone very successful, wealthy or influential in their field - and those 3 words are the main themes of this channel. There's gonna be some more darker documentaries, some free "mini-courses", and loads more that I'm excited to share with you soon. Research has shown that Goals are great for short / medium term but often people motivation will go away once the goal is achieved. The next stage is to focus on identity instead of learning a song, I am a musician, instead of I must eat meals, I want to be a healthy person. Goals can then be used as a guide and as motivation, but the core is one's identity. Small 1% improvements. Would recommend Atomic Habits. I personally break the year into 13, 4 week sections where I have overall yearly goals that compliment my identity, with smaller goals set for 4 weeks at a time that compliment the overall goals for the year. I then do reviews 13 times a year, but I also partake in daily journaling where I check in with my mind, body, and spirit. This also involves a weekly recap as well. It also allows me to plan and understand how long things take, but what matters most is doing the things that make me happy, keep me emotionally aware, I do what makes me happy.

Thank you! Funnily enough, I actually had considered a mini-course about techniques to get into that limitless state, because it's hard to go too in-depth in a single youtube video. However I want to work on perfecting my current course before I branch out more. My current course is about how to build a business with KZbin. It goes very indepth about content production, and growing a channel, but unlike other courses it also then goes into the business side of things, and how you can setup and scale different income sources. I don't talk about it a huge amount yet, but I really believe that for anyone who is interested in viewing KZbin more entrepreneurially, it's the perfect product ( magnatesmedia.com/ytm-order ).

But of course it wont happen by itself, I need to put a lot of work into that. Im so glad, that youtube recommended to me your channel. Your video are so on point and so well edited. Fantastic job! Regarding point 2 and dramatic movie soundtracks: I've got also other technique. I love to put some steady white noises on my headphones, like airplane cabin jet sounds. It's allow me to isolate from world and focus on work, but from other hand I like to hear this noises, when I can not sleep at night. If I've got insomnia, after half an hour with this white noises, I'm sleeping like a baby. I like these kind of white noises from my childhood ( like for example hair dryer noise) and I thought there is something wrong with me. But few years back I found out, there is a lot of yt videos with that noises and they got a lot of views. For example, my favourite 10 h video with jet sound got over 24 mln (!) views. I'm so happy, that I'm not alone with my habits :) I wish you all best with your channel. And keep your finger crossed for me ;)

Relating to that, I have been trying to write a book for ten years. I have jotted down notes and ideas... Well during my Christmas break 2023 I told myself, 'You're going to the Primus concert.' I noticed another band playing with them called Puscifer, I gave them a listen to see what i'm in store for. When I tell you that inspiration flowed through me, boy did it flow. I managed to turn my book into a three part series and now i'm on part three with only two chapters left till it's complete.... Shameless plug. Hey man, apparently a lot of people aren't getting shown new videos even if they subscribe. I believe the quality has got even better since this video, so if you're interested in the newer content, please consider turning on the bell icon (all notifications), otherwise KZbin won't show you the new videos for some reason. :( Thanks for the support man, I really do appreciate it. Hope it's all going well with you?

Thank you! 😁 As for the thumbnail, thanks for the feedback, I'm testing a couple of different ones. Does the current one not stand out to you much?
@MagnatesMedia3 жыл бұрын
Oh also, just saw the second part of your comment. The answer is 'sort of'. I'm working on my business full-time, and youtube is the heart of my business. So I'm not working on youtube videos full-time (although quite a lot of time), but MagnatesMedia is full-time :)
