Love how honest you are sharing info about what QA typically entails. Very simplified but informative stuff like sql, bug reporting tracker etc..about the hacker though- yeah the reality check you shared broke my heart cos I thought they write stuff and punch codes non stop. Кстати, Тест-кейс: проверка звука на видео Действия: просмотр видео в вертикальной ориентации на айфон 7 Ожидаемый результат: звук идёт из основного и слухового динамика Результат теста: звук идёт только из слухового динамика. П.с. В горизонтальной ориентации видел звук идёт как надо))

Two questions, is QA engineer a type of software engineer? Is QA tester and QA engineering the same thing, if not, what's the difference?

1. Type of. But it directly. One tests software and writes code to test it. The other creates software 2. On the basic level yes, that will be the same. If you dig dipper then you will find some differences. If you want a can share a long message with details

Good question! You can't do automation unless you are familiar with the basics of manual testing. But you can another way around, so manual will be a starting point anyways 👍

Every company might have its own definition of it. But the common idea on the market is that QA Automation Engineer is dedicated to Automation only/mostly work, while QA Engineer is the one who is either only manual, or a mix of box Manual and Automation.

Hi, you definitely need to focus on manual first. Because without understanding concept of testing, it’s impossible to do automation. So i would learn manual, then start learning automation and simultaneously look for the job! This will give you highest return on investment

Сказать был он прав не могу, так как факторов слишком много. У меня студентка Катя 5 месяцев училась и днём и ночью и никаким Английским и через 2 месяца получила работу на 90к. Здесь ключевые факторы это практика и стремление. Она не одна такая в своём классе была
