I started lifting 8½ months ago benched 270 my first day and right now my numbers suggest I'm probably capable of benching 405 right now. 385 was my last proper max though. Im aiming to break my state record of 462lbs by the end of my second year lifting and keep it rolling from there. I started late at 27 but apparently my genetics are capable of achieving greatness.

I was weighing in the 150’s-160’s and am like 5’07”, and benched 340lbs. You do not have to be big, nor tall. It will take a whole, whole, whole lotta work though. I never took protein, gnc, etc at all.
@littlethuggie2 жыл бұрын
You benched about 2.19 x your body weight. Imagine if you were able to maintain that ratio all the way to 500 pounds. You'd weigh 228... that's considerably bigger. And you wouldn't keep that ratio, so you'd be even bigger.

They say the shorter the better the guys that weight 130-160 are only like 5’2-5’6 maybe 5’7 And can bench 2-3 times their body weight it can be done I’ve never done it I’ve been close to 300 at 200 body weight OBESE FAT. I’m also a short dude I think it helps
@praiseshiva1083 жыл бұрын
So these numbers are all wrong for 2019 raw or wraps division. Not sure how you got these but it's more like 750 lifters And when you add up all the lifters on his board the total is 568 not 529 lol

Great advice my friend… I’m curious if you can cross reference those statistics with those by age group? For instance how many 210 pound men can benchpress 500 pounds over the age of 40 or 50?

For those wondering about natural vs enhanced I'm 180lbs and my current tap n go is 390lbs without a coach, plan, or proper nutrition I just watch a cool KZbin video and try what they do lol. Just I have been serious benching for 8 years now tho. So if you have a coach, good diet, and proper plan hitting 405 shouldn't be that crazy hard. Protien powder, pre and creatine is all I use really. There's also been many months where I got lazy, stopped benching or did a cut to 160lbs for bodybuilding. So if your 100% powerlifting bench I'd be doing 430-450 right now for sure.
@sloppyjonuts9162 Жыл бұрын
How much strength did you lose or if any maybe even gain some? Does it come back on a cut or if you want to maintain the weight you cut down to ? Wil the strength come back ?
