When it fills up open the bleeder valve on the thermostat to let the air out

The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee bleeder valve is not there

It is there on the 2016 also but only if you have the 3.6 liter. If it’s the 5.7 it has a plain thermostat without the housing with the bleeder screw on it.

🤢🤢🤢 you're using dexcool in a jeep. I'd give it 2 years and the water pump will be rusted out and maybe other parts. But the bleeding procedure is on point. Good job

The mopar coolant has the same chemicals as the dexcool it's just a way for Chrysler to market their own but yes for warranty purposes use the original one so they don't hassle you on it for warranty purposes.

I did this when i had to replace the thermostat. What happens with the funnel starts to overflow while the engine, heat is on, after I bleed the system?
