Getting rid of the air in your brake system is quite simple on cars. So easy that you can do it in your garage and it will take no time to get it done. If you have old brake fluid in your car and want to flush it out, this is essentially the exact same procedure.
Stoptech STR 600 Brake Fluid ▶︎ amzn.to/2hNYIaz
HFS Brake Bleeder ▶︎ amzn.to/2BhRYud
If you don’t have a friend to help you press the brake pedal, you can get a power bleeder where it will suck the fluid from the bleeder valve and pull it through the lines instead of the brake booster pushing it down through the lines. Theres a link below for one.
If you have any questions, post them in the comments below and I’d be happy to help. Cheers!!

+Numair Hirani If you have to bleed your brakes with two bleeder screws, you will want to bleed the furthest bleeder first, then the closer one. So you'd want to do the outside bleeder, then the inside bleeder valve.

Should we do this process with the engine running? Because when it's off the brake pedal becomes hard and gets stuck.
@DoomFinger511
@DoomFinger511 5 жыл бұрын
It doesn't get stuck when bleeding brakes because you're releasing the pressure.

@DoomFinger511

Attach a clear hose to the bleeder valve. You'll not only prevent brake fluid from getting on the brakes, you'll also be able to see if any bubbles are in the fluid as it comes out.

so before you start bleeding the breaks do you mix the old fluid with the new fluid or how do you get rid of the old fluid on the lines to get the new fluid in
@milanmastracci
@milanmastracci 8 жыл бұрын
+Christian Flores You keep pumping the brake pedal until the new fluid from the reservoir gets pushed through the lines and the old fluid is evacuated
@DoomFinger511
@DoomFinger511 5 жыл бұрын
@@sonacphotos If it's a different type of fluid you need to drain the whole system first. If it's the same type (but just clean fluid) you can mix it.

hey bro, I have the same car as you but the v6. im frequently having to put air in my driver front tire. I don't know if its the wheel or tpms gauge. help a brother out, please!!!!
@milanmastracci
@milanmastracci 4 жыл бұрын
Hey man! I'd take a bottle with soapy water, spray it all over the tire and the TPMS, and see where it bubbles. If you have a leak, you should be able to spot it. You might have also driven over a screw or something and have a puncture in the tire itself. It might be easiest to remove the wheel to fix it and inspect it, but that's where I would start 👍
@youngsumma

@@milanmastraccihey thanks for replying so fast. ill do that this weekend. I bought a set of new tires late last year thinking that would fix my slow leak issue, but no Im still losing air in my front driver. is its either my wheel is bent , or a bad tpms. if its the wheel, is that a diy repair? have you ever had to fix your wheels?

I love my car!! It might not be as powerful as the V6 however it is very balanced and can turn better than the V6. If you opted for the big engine, would that increase be enough or would you want a V8 after that?
@thatguywholaged

milanmastracci ya i mean i fine with the 4 cylinder its my first car and has some decent mpg but i fear its a little weak do you think a turbo or supercharger would be an ok upgrade? anyways love your videos keep up the great work cant wait to see what else you do with your car.
@milanmastracci
@milanmastracci 9 жыл бұрын
If you are really looking for power, I would suggest getting the V6 because it is safe power without running anything aftermarket. With that being said, if that isn't enough power, you can then look into getting a supercharger kit for it. I have seen someone that has turbocharged their 4 cylinder Accord however it isn't easy nor is it cost effective. Glad to hear, I'll keep posting away :D

This is not such a great way to do it because it makes a mess and is not as easy to see the bubbles. If you use a bleeder hose it contains the corrosive brake fluid from getting all over the place and you can easily see if there are still air bubbles in the hose.
