@@leelasollien1019If it was curly but now is very frizzy you could try doing the whole 5 step curly hair routine or something like that, doesn't have to be 5 steps but I recommend looking it up and trying a few of them out to define and bring back your curls instead of the frizzy look

Estefania Pérez the trick is to not rotate the brush or roll it back to the root. Place the hair on the brush near the root and brush the hair under the blow dryer straight up without twisting the brush(like you'd normally brush) then when you're at the bottom of the hair twist it slightly inwards. There are videos on here that show you how :)

Anthony Zhang the best thing with a round brush is to not give up. It takes practice and knowing how to turn the brush. Try buying a different round brush if the one you have isn't working the way you want it. Try different core sizes, ionic, ceramic, either switch between thermal and boar bristles and so forth.

Same. I think it's the technique I use. My hair stylist can do it but every time I try to blow it dry, it frizzes like crazy. I think I'm either using too much heat or not enough. So I just wear it wavy
@bogii4736 жыл бұрын
the blowdryer you use might be the reason behind it. ive had a cheap one for years and my blowout always looked terrible even after using a shitton of products. this christmas ive finally upgraded to a philips thermoprotect (still not a high end one, but it is ionic and has more settings) and my hair is sooo smooth and so much more straight after drying it, plus it takes less time to do it on a lower temperature. the brushes you use when drying are important as well, invest into a more professional one (doesnt have to be highend either, but like ones not from the dollar store). apply some oily serum after styling (but not before straightening with an iron if you do that too bc it will fry the ends). BUT. do not forget everyone has a different hair texture and some people have naturally shiny hair while us, the less fortunate, have to spend a fortune on getting rid of the frizz (and still getting a lion head at 0.0001% humidity). so keep it realistic as well. i know im very late to this party, but im answering anyway for i might help someone else if not you :)

Hello and thank you for the amazing tips on how to blowdry the hair straight. I recently went to the salon in South America to get my hair straight using a special product. After I was finished the stylist told me that must blowdry my hair everytime in order for the special product to activate with the heat of the blowdryer. Before I would not use a hairdryer I always would let it air dry. My hair is very curly and frizzy. I am barely learning now how to actually blowdry my hair with the hairdryer and these tips have really helped me a lot. And for that I thank you. I hope that I can get better and better with blowdrying my hair.

I got so fed up with my curly, frizzy, unruly hair that I decided to do a search on KZbin for some suggestions and I found this video. On Sunday night, I ordered a professional hair dryer (Babyliss Pro), three different size ceramic brushes (Olivia Garden), heat protectant (Tresseme) and some argon oil. I got them in the mail yesterday afternoon and today after my shower I decided to try blow drying my hair straight. It worked!! For the most part. I think I missed some sections as there are places where my hair is still curly but the most annoying curls are gone - particularly around my forehead. It was very difficult to hold the brush and the hair dryer at the same time but I started to get the hang of it after a while. I also wish I had purchased some big clips to section my hair. I was using mini clips and sometimes the wet hair kept falling into the dry hair or would snag on the brush. I think I will get better at doing this with some more practice. Overall, it was a huge success! Thank you so much for posting this video!! It literally changed my life.

I love your videos. I have the same hair as you, curly-wavy, something like this. Always used flat iron to straighten them up. For all those, who cannot achieve the results like here on the video, just with hairdryer and the brush, I give you an advice. It helped me a lot and the difference is really visible. Never underestimate the power of good hairdryer. I always used small, "pocket" hairdryer and lately changed it for ionic one. Yes, it is a little bit expensive, but it is worth it. I dont have to use flat iron anymore and my hair doesn't look like damaged anymore. I completely fall in love with the results.

I have three round brushes and of course I want more because I hoard everything but I did learn some things. Boar bristles have a lot more tension so it helps with straightening out wavy or curly roots, especially in the bottom sections and the crown sections. Thermal bristles are great for speed drying. I have very thick, wavy hair and with a thermal brush, I can get my entire head done in less than 30 minutes.

I don't need to section out my hair, I just run the hair dryer with my brush downwards and it gives me the same results as shown in this video.

Roberta Rodas sometimes you have to still let your hair dry while you're inside or still blow dry it a little more cause sometimes it may seem like our hair is dry but it still has moisture which will frizz or poof up if it's humid outside

It really depends on how good your blowdryer is. I could never blow dry my super curly and frizzy hair straight until I got a good quality blow dryer. It doesn't have to be super expensive but it needs to be powerful and hot. Mine is a $60 Babyliss. The key to a quality blowout is heat and tension in the hair as you blow dry it.

Is Leyla...Mimi? I just found this channel, and I'm seeing some really great tutorials. One from 2010, one from 2011, and 2014. Leyla looks similar but different from Mimi. I'm thinking wait..are they sisters or the same person. Lol!

David Gueth No actually, you shouldn't wash your hair everyday because it strips away the natural oils. And, your hair will get very oily...

where i live is very common to straighten ur hair using a blow dryer . i have been doing it since i was 14 and i had curly frizzy hair and i used to suck at it so much but with time and practice i got so much better . so if u didn't nail it at the first time who cares ?just keep doing it until u become a pro XOXO

I have the exact same hair as her. But straight hair is easier to style, manage, and it's not much as a hassle as curly hair is. If I leave my hair naturally curly, I find myself always playing with it a and fixing it to make it less frizzy and have nice defined curls.

I didn't know what I'm doing wrong. when i blow dry my hair, i always end up with frizzy hair. It's damaged from coloring and heating tools. I have tryed everything. name an oil, i used it. name a product i have used it. I have spent, what feels like, thousands on hair products. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have considered just shaving my head!

+Stella Laffin for a while stop styling it with any kinda styling/heating products and take care of your natural hair with organic products
@stellalaffin22068 жыл бұрын
+sam ghosh Do you have any specific brands that you suggest? When it comes to organic, i have no idea where to start. Thank you for the suggestion. ☺
@teddy47838 жыл бұрын
i dont know where you stay and which brands are available there. But you can use coconut oil followed by turban therapy and a mix of almond oil n castor oil at times.
@eshyyybow62848 жыл бұрын
Mine is the exact same as your hair, Have a look on the internet for organic shampoo, You can coat your hair in coconut oil and leave for as long as possible, When you finish showering coat your hair in cold water which is what I do, It reduces frizz and adds shine! Hope this helps because it does for me xx

I try so so hard to have my hair come out like this...but I think I have come to the conclusion that I just have to accept my lackluster hair...or get hair extensions...because I don't have that much hair, so it usually looks piecey...and bad. But I shall try this! Thanks Mimi!
