Hi! My Bluetooth button on the menu is grayed out even with my parking brake on. Is there a way to open this menu? I need to delete my paired bluetooth devices to register my new phone and I'm unable to since the memory is full :( thank you for your help!

You need to engage the Parking Brake in an ON-OFF-ON operation to gain access to the Bluetooth Settings Menu. If you engage the Parking Brake and the Bluetooth Settings are still grayed out, your in-dash receiver may have an incorrect connection to the vehicle for the Green Parking Brake Wire. You can see more information about the Green Parking Brake Wire here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5OpZKiwr8aHaZI Please be sure to have the latest firmware installed on your Pioneer AVH-600EX. Is the volume up on the phone? Is the volume up on the in-dash receiver during the phone call? You can see how to adjust the phone call volume in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKnRkISfobV2fdE Phone calls can be heard from the Front Speaker Outputs and Front RCA Outputs only. Bluetooth Audio or streaming music, can be heard from all speakers front and rear. To Test, use the Audio System Fader control and fade the audio all the way to the front. Can you hear music? Can you hear phone calls? You can see how to operate the Fader Control in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHPZmn6hZ8iEec0 If you have faded the system all the way to the front and still can not hear phone calls, it's possible the Front Speaker/RCA outputs from the in-dash receiver are not connected. If you can't hear the remote phone caller, this may be an installation issue. The in-dash receiver's Front Speaker/RCA Outputs must be used to hear a remote phone caller. On a Pioneer in-dash receiver, when on a phone call, the remote caller is heard from the Front Speaker/RCA Outputs only. Not from the Rear Speaker/RCA Outputs. Music, including music played from your phone through Bluetooth Audio can be heard from all speakers, both front and rear. If you can't hear the remote caller, please test your set up to be sure you are using the Front Speaker Outputs. To test, use the Fader control to fade the audio to the Front Speakers. You can see how to operate the fader control in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHPZmn6hZ8iEec0 If you fade the system all the way to the front and can not hear music playing, that means the front speaker/RCA outputs are not being used. How do you engage parking break?
@pioneerelectronics2 жыл бұрын
You’ll need to engage the vehicle’s Parking Brake in an ON-OFF-ON operation in order to access the Bluetooth setup menu. This might also be known as the Hand Brake or the Emergency Brake. If you engage the vehicle’s Parking Brake and still can’t access the Bluetooth menu, the in-dash receiver’s Green Parking Brake Wire may have an incorrect connection to vehicle. You can learn more about the Green Parking Brake Wire in this Pioneer How To video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5OpZKiwr8aHaZI The Parking Brake or Emergency Brake, may be a small pedal near the other pedals and next to the outer edge of the vehicle, or the Hand Brake in the Center console or other area of the vehicle. I have a MVH-300Ex and my android 📱 is paired. I can make calls with no problem. My issue is when I play music, the phone is just playing. The sound isn't coming out the vehicle speakers. The bluetooth icon remains lit. I can see my contacts, call logs but NO MUSIC? Everything was working fine with my last 📱. This is a new device but I cleared any other connected devices. Still, NOTHING. Can someone help me out PLEASE

Please be sure your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device like a headset or portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting for audio. Are you using the Bluetooth Audio Source on the in-dash receiver? Have you selected your phone in the Bluetooth Audio Source? Please check out this video for the Pioneer MVH-300EX and using Bluetooth Audio: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXPJaqaPrKpnmqc If you still can't hear music from the phone, I recommend to start the process from the beginning. First, delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth Memory and then restart your phone. Next, delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory. You can see that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGq5hY1-jLWtobM Next press the microprocessor reset button on the in-dash receiver. You'll need a paper clip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer MVH-300EX on the hard key panel at the far right. Now, start the Bluetooth pairing process from the beginning. You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ3Zc3aVarBlpq8 You can find more How To videos about Pioneer MVH-300EX in this playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmTIaahjjqaFo6c and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: kzbin.info
