I grew garlic for the first time last year. I saved some whole and the rest I dehydrated and ground into powder. It turned out really good. Love this info!

Had no idea that if you take the scapes off, the bulb would grow bigger. I know better now for next year. We have planted hard neck for the passed couple years and they can tend to be small. Now we know. As for storing them, I have according to your videos, just hung them to dry in our garage and we are about to bring them in, since they are dry at this time. I have used garlic in something called "Dragon juice" with hot peppers and apple cider, Great stuff! Thank you for your videos!

Oh I can't wait to plant garlic. I use it in hone remedies - fire cider, garlic and honey... appreciate the braiding demo.

@@MelissaKNorris You're welcome. No we didn't but considering how much we use, we should plant some. 😊

Why you braid them and hang in the house but not chop the head off like the small one for stew?
@MelissaKNorris5 жыл бұрын
I hang the majority of them because I don't have room in the kitchen for them all (they'll last longer away from light and heat)
