Haha! Forgot to script that for my Butler. Needed to do it myself. See this is the thing. Guys can putt well one round. They can chip well. They can make four straight pars. Whatever it is, they prove to themselves they can do it, yet will find any excuse or reason why its impossible to string 18 holes together thinking clearly and playing smart shots and shooting their best scores ever. This constant talking ourselves out of playing well and anticipating the wheels coming off becauae its too good to be true is stopping a lot of playas from being playas.

Another great vlog! I have a question. I know this video presumes the viewer is already a "decent" golfer with the ability to break 90 but what would you have recommended off the tee of the second hole for your higher handicap viewers who don't have a reliable 167 yard club? The way it was filmed it looks like there is trouble in every direction. Also, T-bone appears to have a number of clubs he can hit 170+ yards (212 yard hybrid?). How important is this when trying to break 90? I can hit my 3 wood 200 yards only about 10% of the time and my longest iron is only 150-160 yards on a good day. Hybrids are a little longer but still very inconsistent. 😒
@GolfSidekick5 жыл бұрын
Grigsby Poland I would shoot to the fairway just short of the green and hit it there. That will be anywhere between 140 and 160 yards then chip it on. With that elevation change, you can take one less club too. To break 90 you just need to be able to hit it 170 yards off the tee. I will do a video in March breaking 90 and see if I can show you how to do it by hitting only clubs that go 150 or less.

Best tip I’ve ever had for short game: imagine your swing is a clock and remember the distance the ball goes at what time. For example: I know if take my P wedge to the 9 o’clock position (horizontal to earth) and swing, it goes 50 yards every time. 10 o’clock puts me at 75 yards every time.

I was working on my swing for this round. First nine was a disaster. I think I shot 45 or 46. Really was all over the place. The new swing added 15 yards to my 50 and 54 degree wedges so I short sided myself badly a few times. I shanked it in the water on 4 off the tee with a 6 iron. I made a 6 or something on the par 3 6th because the new David Duval move literally added 10 yards to my PW and I ended up bunker to bunker to bunker with the worst lies. Lol. I did film my second nine after swing changes started working. I will upload it after part two of TBone.
