How to Break Up a Dog Fight | 5 Tips

During a fight between my female and my son's, when NOTHING worked, out of desperation attempting to save my younger dog's life, I threw vinegar straight into their faces. Thank goodness it worked. Both dogs and I went to species specific emergency rooms; we all lived. The vet congratulated me for thinking to use vinegar and thus saving my dog (it was utter terror rather than thought). He even wrote a paper for a vet journal about it. I now always have several gallon of vinegar spread throughout the house, and travel in a car and on walks with a full spray bottle (and back up pepper spray) just in case. I refuse to be that helpless in the face of a dog fight ever again.
