I'm this video I'll be sharing my corn beer recipe so if this is something you'll love to learn, grab some popcorn & watch me demonstrate the process.
•You'll see me with 5kg raw dried corn
•I'll soak the corn in water for 3 days
• I'll rinse the corn out
• I'll spread it out on a clean surface
• Using plastic bags & a blanket, I'll cover the corn to generate heat thus giving the corn an atmosphere to germinate as if it was planted
• Using lukewarm water I'll water it twice daily until I get the desired sprouts
• I'll take it to the mil
• it was milled 3x for a perfect smooth texture
• At Home I added enough water stirred & left to settle for 4hrs (fermentation taking place)
*separate the water from the milled corn & set aside
• cook the milled corn that is left after removing the water till it becomes thick then bring down , Add back the previously separated water stir & leave overnight
• sieve out all chaff from your content. I did it like 4x repeatedly until no more chaff could be seen in my colander
• Now set on fire for the final cooking. Cook until sha'aa looks like malt in color
Set aside to cool & enjoy immediately for a non-alcoholic drink. If left longer the fermentation continues & it becomes alcoholic but please drink responsibly.
